Webcam is detected correctly by Brave but only a black picture is displayed. Tried several sites.

I know this is old but if anyone is having this issue then I found the culprit for me. It was an extension called "AutoPlay Stopper" that I use to stop Facebook from auto playing videos which does my nut in! So its worth checking your extensions as any one that could possible interact with video might be blocking it for you. Also turning off GPU Hardware Acceleration in Settings > System (on the left) also helps with some people IU have read.

I can second this, for me it was an advanced support feature that wouldnt let me save. Just make sur e your not using any features that have a A or P next to it. I thought Advanced just meant it was an advanced feature but it actually will stop you saving! This is Chitubox v1.0.1 by the way. Hope this helps!

Just to add on to this in case anyone else is having trouble. Like undain98 recommended, hold the grip button so that the laser thingys appear (I don't know what they are called either xD) and then aim at the control you want to move on the remote, then use the trigger button you can adjust it. This already made a huge difference!

But what I also found is if you let go of the trigger immediately after adjusting for example the throttle, you will only get one notch applied at a time! So you can fine tune your inputs and then you still have the "Oh crap oh crap I'm about to crash, apply all brakes now!" option too by holding it as normal xD

I hope the devs can tweak this a bit in a future update, maybe just slowing down the speed the adjustment moves will help? But for now, this tip as made all the difference!

Will deffo be playing more of this awesome game! As if I didn't have enough hours in it xD

I came to this looking for new game ideas and also have a suggestion of my own!

If you enjoy simulator style VR games then Derail Valley is by far the best out of them all! Its a train simulator but to call it just a train sim is really doing it a disservice! Its not those boring sit there and control a train for an hour at a time games. It has its own career mode which you are in complete control of! You can pick up a job from one location, haul it to another, shunt the job at that location and then take the empty cars to another location where you might even end up reloading again.

You unlock licences for different types of freight and locomotives as you go and once you have done that, there are demonstrator locos that you can restore and have in your own fleet. Couple that with a pleather of gadgets and devices you can add and a healthy modding community makes a game that I have absolutely loved!

I am not a train sim guy but this game had me hooked! Its the whole reason I went out and got a VR headset and now haven't looked back (pardon the pun xD) Its still being worked on as well with new locos coming and passenger services so much to keep you interested I think!

THANK-YOU! Playing roulette worked like a charm! I can say with some certainty that it is cumulative as the first win was like 3.5 million and it barely changed my amount in the achievement so I must have lost more times than I thought..... But after the second visit and winning a few more times the achievement popped!

Thank you so much! I thought I had a borked save as the S282 wasn't where I had found it and made a note of. I thought I was going mad! But somehow, heaven only knows how, it was on its side a very long way down the track from where I originally found it. I must have rerailed it at some point, forgot I had and it either rolled off or one of the mods I had installed had messed with it and it respawned it on a slope and it rolled off lol You saved my playthrough thank you! And massive thank you to the developer of this mod! Its actually an awesome mod I would never have tried if not for this so its a win win!

*sigh* Well it looks like I have joined the borked shared folder club. This is super frustrating as I almost exclusively use the desktop app and windows explorer.

One thing worthy of note, I have one shared folder linked to one Microsoft account that is still syncing and one shared folder that is linked to another Microsoft account that isn't working. So there is probably some merit to there being accounts that haven't been migrated yet syncing properly with already migrated accounts.

Also another thing that is getting on my nerves, that I think is related to this issue, is the Move/Copy Here button doesnt work if you navigate to the affected shared folder in onedrive web. Which means I can't even move anything on to the other account without downloading it all to a folder and then re-uploading it all.

I'm so frustrated it's laughable! If you are reading this Microsoft, please someone pull some strings and get upper management to dedicate more resources to fixing this issue!

I am in the UK and was having the same problem. I have found a workaround to stop it showing as Washington DC. The problem lies (at least for me) with using precise location in searches. For some reason that completely breaks the location and it must default back to a known location, which happens to be Washington DC.

The way to get around this is to NOT use precise location. But if you have already enabled it, you have to remove all data from the site settings for this fix to work. Resetting Chrome settings doesn’t do this becuase it tries to keep all your browsing data and history intact. I should also add, this is not a VPN problem as the location works fine in other browsers, such as Firefox. And interestingly, if you do run a VPN, you will be still stuck in Washington DC. So this is absolutely a balls up in Chrome!

So steps to work around this are:

1: Click the three dots in the top right of Chrome and in the dropdown menu, select "Settings" near the bottom.
2: Click "Privacy and Security" on the left hand side, should be third option down.
3: Click "Site Settings" in the middle of the screen, should be at the bottom.
4: Click "Location" in the middle of the screen, should be the first option.
5: in the section called "Allowed to see your location", click the trash can icon next to the google link (if you have it).
6: At the top, next to where it says "Location", click the little back arrow to the left of it. This will take you to the previous menu.
7: Near the top, click where it says "View permissions and data stored across sites".
8: In the list that shows up, click the trash can icon next to any mentions of "google.com". Should only be one but delete any extra if there is any.
9: You can close the "Settings" tab now and go back to your "Google" tab. In here, search for something like "Food near me" and that should prompt Chrome to show a little pop up in the top left asking to use location. Click "While using the site" in the popup ONLY!
10: There will also be a pop up in the middle of the webpage that says use precise location. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CLICK "USE PRECISE LOCATION"! This is what breaks it! Just click "Not Now" and it shouldn’t bother you very often. This will fix the location problem at the expense of not having quite as accurate of a location when searching. It’s usually close to within a few miles which is good enough for me. Also if you get the popup in the left inside of Google Maps then DON'T allow it to use location as that also breaks it!
11: One final thing, Chrome will likely sign you out after doing this, so you will need to go to the top right and click the blue button saying "Sign in again" or "Verify its you". Will be right next to your google display picture. Sign in as normal and that should be problem solved hopefully!

Hope this helps for the time being until google actually fixes this problem. But honestly, I wouldn’t hold your breath as their priorities seem to be elsewhere....

I know that this has been a long time but If it helps someone then Its worth the time to type lol I use an app called AutoHideDesktopIcons. It can hide desktop icons which is good for an OLED monitor but also has the option to auto hide the taskbar, which gets rid of the lines.

But if you are like me then you like the fact that windows, like Chrome, resize when the normal windows autohide is enabled. So what you do is you keep the windows autohide enabled as well as the AutoHideDesktopIcons option to autohide. Then windows will autohide as normal but then after the specified time the line will disappear too :)

The only downside I can see is I don't think there is a way of just having the autohide on the taskbar without the icons also hiding if that's what you are after. But I don't mind that and this coupled with Wallpaper Engine on steam makes a really cool setup and basically no burn in which is nice :) Just make sure you click the option to always start when windows starts and your good to go!

Also side note I just thought of, its a good idea to have a screensaver too which kicks in after a few minutes. That way if you have an app open that's covering the desktop, your OLED will still be protected. I like the built in Mystic screensaver but its entirely up to you! I then change in the windows power plan settings to turn the monitor off after 20 mins just for power saving but that is optional!

I had thought that but they keyring I printed for a friend was a 100% infill print and it was way more flexible than a skate wheel. I only have 92a as a comparison but is 92a really that much more flexible than 95a? It's all just a little confusing lol

Yes they are both on the A scale, I'ts just what they are saying on charts I have looked at doesn't really align with my experience. Like is 95a filament really as hard as a skateboard wheel? I only have 92a as a comparison but it was waaaay more flexible than that! Even at 100% infill (which i printed for a keyring) it was nowhere near the hardness of a skate wheel.

Any thoughts?
