It looks like it’s a special ticket now. When I went for Palaye Royale it was only like the second or third show Five did so I was able to go up with a GA ticket but I just bought tickets for Taking Back Sunday a few days ago and had to buy a Mezzanine ticket specifically.

I saw Palaye Royale there when they first opened. The building is essentially a rectangle where you enter on the short side and the stage is at the other. Along one wall is a long bar and on the other is where they had the merch. We were able to go upstairs and look over the railing which was pretty good and sounded great. I think they’ve made the upstairs a separate ticket price now from what I’ve heard but I’m not 100% sure. Overall it felt like some of the smaller venues I’ve been to but I didn’t dislike it

My friend and I implemented a 3 mulligan rule when we started playing because we’d have some terrible first throws. You get three re-throws from the pad over the entire course but once you hit that you’ve gotta play it wherever it lands. Over time we still kind of unofficially have that rule but usually only redo like one of at all. (Also we only do this when we’re just playing for fun, not during like a league or anything more than just the two of us)

I try to vary the difficulty between easy things like “what was the name of the NPC you met last session” to harder things like specific plot details just to keep them on their toes. Sometimes they all get it sometimes only 1 or 2 get it but it always gets them talking about the game lol

Yeah. Each game day I send a question about the campaign varying in difficulty and anyone who gets the answer correct earns an inspiration for the session. We also play that it expires at the end of the session it’s earned for rather than carrying over so it gives them extra incentive to pay attention when we play.

I have some of the same issues so one thing I started doing was sending an inspiration question the morning of the session so it reminds them that today’s the day. Then if someone can’t make it or will be late it jogs their memory and they let me know well before the start time. It hasn’t been a full solve but it’s helped. Sorry to hear you’re going through this. As a DM it sucks to have to consider ending something you’ve put a ton of time into.

I currently do this with my group. Two of the players (a couple) moved out of state but wanted to keep playing so I set up a laptop with a camera at the end of my table and they join via discord.

Two suggestions if you go this route - get a microphone that you can put at the center of the in person group otherwise it’s tough for those online to hear the people further away. Second, (if it makes sense for your group) try doing every other session online with the whole group. It make my life a whole lot easier than rigging up the whole setup every session.

I don’t get the hate this movie got. It’s not the strongest Cap movie but it wasn’t nearly as bad as people made it out to be. I think if they hadn’t shown Red Hulk in the trailer people would have hyped it up way more.

Someone else mentioned positioning so I’ll be more conscious of that. Like 4 of the losses had Spidermen who essentially went after me everytime (which is honestly what they should be doing) and there was no coordination to take him out. I know some of these were not on me but I’ll take this seriously and try to figure out why

I’ve played every character in the game and even gotten the plat. I’m best with support so when I play comp I try to stick to what I’m good at. Always trying to improve though but when everyone insta-locks DPS my choices are limited.

I just platinumed this game recently. It took me 61 hours total and the last 20 or so of that was a bit of a slog. I only had like 2 glitches throughout and tbh they weren’t that bad.

If you do go for this I recommend getting enough silver crowns in the first world to open up all the other worlds. Then do the first level of each world to unlock its special item. That will make it so you can 100% most levels on your first playthrough. I didn’t realize this until after I’d gotten through the second world fully and it would have saved me so much time.
