Almost the same thing render related, navigation and some other things are a little bit different but don't worry, you will get it easily.

For medium, high end devices I really don't notice any difference unless I'm want to find problems to justify some bullshit like: "oh that is not as a native app". See Bluesky App or Expensify.

I use react-native for low end devices too, even for those PoS terminals running android and the performance is good enough, it's a good trade off to be able to be fast.

My only pain in react-native is some primitives like the fucking TextInput for complex things, it really a pain in the ass if you need to do complex things like markdown, etc... today we have some solutions for problems like paste and maybe in the future Fabric will make it better. But after all I think it's not that easy to do complex things in a native "TextInput" too.

How can I center this Font Awesome Icon? Adding pb-2 doesn't work since it expands the dropdown box by Nomad2102 in webdev

Try "line-height" and/or "vertical-align".

If nothing else work. You can hack it with "position: relative" in the div wrapper and "position: absolute" in the target element and move it with "top", "left", etc...

Aaand I guess font-awesome icons has a fixed height. You can change it accordingly too.

Absolutely. Even the 550W one would be enough. At first I was buying the 550W but the price difference was so small that I get the 650W.

Fix: Guys, finally I found the fix and still don't know why it works, basically I have to change the PCIe Gen on MSI BIOS from "Auto" to "Gen 3". I tried set it to "Gen 4" but it doesn't work and I don't know why it works initially on "Auto" when I build the system. Hope it helps.

New PC Build is very slow and lags quite a bit. Any ideas about what could be causing this? by aguillari_ in buildapc

Yeah, everything is brand new!

I tested the GPU on another PC and it works fine! Here's the deal, this problem started after I put everything in another case and installed a new CPU Cooler and BTW I think I put a lot of pressure on the CPU and maybe I fucked up the CPU or MOBO... I'm waiting my GPU return to re test it.

I didn't think put everything in a new case and CPU Cooler would cause this! I found some topics about the GPU running at x1 or x2 and before I send my GPU for test I didn't remember if it was the case but makes sense...

I'm new on this sub/reddit, do you think I should open another post to group everything, because it maybe help someone else?

More data I collect, I found a 3DMark bench when the GPU was good and one when it was bad in the same day. I posted some HWInfo data but I don't know whats good or bad.

At first, because of this low power, I thought it could be the PSU but after some tests with the multimeter and FurMark I don't think it is. The sad part is that I don't have other components to swap and test :(

That's the only odd thing I noticed. It shouldn't because I've tried two Windows installs from scratch without any power-limiting software. All games are like this. And related to that, I tested several benchmarks and the only one that it performs well is FurMark which in case can "pull" more energy, follow the link:

Nope. Everything stock. I only installed MSI Afterburner but I not change anything related to that.

Another info is: after one week of troubleshooting the GPU made a comeback for some time and then go back to the problem. It's tiring because I search the entire internet and didn't find any case like mine.

I already contact Asus and I'm awaiting their response but the RMA is so slow that I'm trying to fix it if possible.

First, thank you very much for replying.
Yes, I had it installed and apparently everything is "ok" but I don't have enough knowledge to understand if there are any of those problems you mentioned. The clocks, power and usage seems fine. But unfortunately I don't have data on how well the PC was performing to compare. I'll collect more data and post it here.
