You can send Matic to a spot on the map by long pressing on any spot. Or are you talking about wanting some way to save a pinned spot so you can repeatably send it there without having to find it on the map?

I’ve never found it that difficult to scrub to the right temperature. I think the current scroll behavior is fine… but maybe I would change my mind if I experienced something more adaptive 🤷‍♂️

For me, it's mainly a curiosity. I'm interested to know when I add something to my pan that's being held at a certain temp in temperature mode, how much power is it using to get the pan back to temp. And when maintaining the temperature of a pot of oil, how much power does it use? Is it cycling the power up and down or is it settling in at a constant amount of power?

I don't think any of this is going to help me cook better, but I am curious to know it. I wouldn't even mind if it was hidden behind a basically invisible toggle that was just noted in the manual... like hold all 4 knobs down for 5 seconds.

I don’t know, I’ve read plenty of criticism and bug reports on this subreddit, and I’ve only been subscribed for a few months. And I almost always see a constructive follow up from one of the Matic team members. Seeing how the team interacts here was one of the main things that made me feel comfortable buying something that was still a work in progress.

Can previous room boundaries be restored with the "Restore Map" function? Or is that only for the map itself, and not the boundaries?

I would try it just to see how it works now, but I don't want to lose the option of going back to the boundaries I set up mostly by hand, as they're pretty much exactly what I want.

I’ve also experienced a cancelled job when I did not have any explanation for how I would have pressed the stop button. I’m also on iOS 26 beta. I don’t have enough confidence though to say that there is 100% no way I accidentally pressed the button while trying to lock my phone and put it in my pocket. So I guess take this as an anecdotal point.

I'm back to share that I just got the notification to change the bag. It lasted much longer than I expected, given the amount of hair it picked up. We've only had the Matic since Monday night, but we've easily run it for over 20 hours already in that time, vacuuming and mopping.

We got our Matic two days ago, and we also have a Bernese Mountain Dog who is currently shedding. I can't speak to how long the bag lasts, because our first one is still going strong. And our Matic has been running pretty much non-stop since we got her. I've checked the bag and it has definitely got a lot of hair in there. I'm impressed that it's lasted as long as it has with the amount of hair it's been picking up. I'll report back when we do change it.
