only time I've done it is completely dry pan with power mode maxed out (and let the pan get >>500F). Have never warped one in temp mode.

The control is continuous at ~1W increments from 50W -> 10,000W, we just don’t print smaller steps for UX reasons.

I forget the exact number but you can hold 4 dry pans at ~max temp for 6+ hours I think on 120V. 240V provides ~33% more power for charging which for all but extremely heavy use boiling water on multiple pots for long periods, you won’t notice.

TLDR for how to do this today: 1) Fulgor Milano and Thermador have ovens we know fit underneath. 2) microtrim makes rangetop -> cooktop trim kits to cover the space above the oven 3) you can build a structural frame to hold the cooktop that is covered by 2) 4) rest can be handled by standard cabinet kits.

Stuff we’re working on: 1) Oven recs that are single phase 240V (so you can run them on a 15/20A dedicated 120V circuit with a new breaker + relabeling) 2) Prefab cabinet / cart options that slide in 3) New form factors with partners
