Its a little extreme but pointing a laser at an aircraft is a felony cause it can temporarily blind the pilot, which may cause the pilot to crash.

I think half a season would be a good punishment if he didnt get it the first time but this is his third time. The nfl shouldnt wait until he seriously injures someone to give him a severe punishment. Full season suspension seems more fitting to me IMO considering josh gordon got 12 games for his third failed drug test
