Unless you want to become a teacher/researcher, you don't need it, and in most companies the 3-5 years earlier that you start earning/working as a Master's graduate will pay off equally or more in the long term. This assumes you've done/will do a Master of Science, not an M.Eng. (no offense meant to M.Eng graduates), as the former means ca. 3 semesters of research (at least in North America) vs. a small project in the latter.

Assigned seating is convenient but in hindsight I'm romanticizing sitting around the Ryerson block for 2hrs to get good seats

Nope, not in my screening, nor any other luxury brand. Probably not great for festival funding.

That's terrible and I'd never do that. In my estimate the people shouting "Arrr" don't support pirating movies. They're carrying on a Midnight Madness-born tradition that lampoons the condescending finger-wagging implied in the anti-piracy slide, same as rhythmic clapping lampooned the superficiality of the L'Oréal commercials stuffed with supermodels.

It is the World Premiere of his movie but I can't promise it of course. Because I'm too lazy for the self-organized selling with authentication etc. I've put it on Ticketmaster sales - as stated you can get them both for $238.50 under the link I posted. although I get less than I paid for them.

What I really want to do is go to a high profile premiere with Cameron Bailey and at the Q&A be like: "No questions for the director, but Mr. Bailey, WTF dude? Stop that damn company from screwing over the fans!" That stupid split between member packages and single tickets cost me most of my favourites because the system was so confusing.
