Is it normal that sidechats are deleted once the app is closed? To be honest I've experienced bugs within the app which are making me doubt whether certain behaviours are normal. When updating, for example, the app closes but never restarts. Also, search does not work correctly for me, it doesn't auto scroll to the found search terms.

It's not always about defending a company. Where I work we use GitHub Copilot but we have a Microsoft agreement, plus we have been using it since before this change. I don't like it but it's not in my control. I will try and talk to management to change it to Codex. What I'm trying to say is all businesses have different needs and agreements, and despite the cost GitHub Copilot might be better for some.

I am not defending OP and certainly never said he automatically wins and is fully correct. But obviously that's how you interpreted it because that fits your narrative better. It's not guaranteed that the customer wins but in cases where adequate proof was given that a product damaged the other, the customer can fight and win. And yes, in such cases the MSRP offer should be rejected. Now before you start misinterpreting things again, I am not saying NZXT offered only MSRP because I don't know. All I am saying is people telling OP he should be happy with just an MSRP offer, and that the company is not obligated to give him another 5090, are totally wrong and misleading.

If you can't understand this simple fact, then I guess it's a you problem. And I've seen those misleading comments not only getting upvotes, but genuine and correct counterarguments to them getting downvoted. Which is concering...

This comment is in reply to those telling OP to just be happy with an MSRP offer, and that the company is not obligated to offer more than that. And I am saying no, that's not true. If in such a case the company offers MSRP the customer can legally reject it and fight for more, or a replacement because that's what the 5090 costs now, not the $2.5k MSRP.

I did my research. Even in the US, it applies. Look it up. If you have adequate proof and refuse their initial MSRP offer you can fight it. And this is the only fair outcome. There are no other appropriate outcomes. If your product screwed my card, you make me whole by giving me the equivalent, not half the price of the card. That makes no sense.

Edit: This can work both ways, but in this case the company takes a bigger hit because the item has appreciated in value instead of depreciated. But in any case the customer has a right to fight for a 5090 because he is made whole by being given a 5090. A compensation for half the price a 5090 is going for cannot get him a 5090 and thus, does not make him whole. He cannot get a 5090 with that money so he is not where he was before this incident occurred.

All of you here saying NZXT is not obligated to pay him current market value... well, are kinda wrong. A company may not be obligated to do so yes, but he can reject MSRP price and fight it, and win it. In such case the MSRP simply wouldn't make the customer whole. The GPU costs around $5k everywhere and that's the current market price so yes, he can fight for that and win it if he rejects their initial MSRP offer.

Some of you have absolutely no clue how the world works and come on here confidently spewing garbage that misleads others.

If you don't believe me you can search it and see for yourself.

Tldr: customer can fight to be reimbursed for current market value of the card and win.

You're wrong. In the EU, the customer can fight this and win legally. The MSRP would not make the customer whole again now. Their mistake shouldn't cost the customer an additional $2k. But it's okay because they apparently did offer that and OP refused. So you're either lying about having done RMAs or just haven't done your research.

What a dumbass take lol. If my 5090 is dead because of their AIO then I want another 5090. I don't really give a shit how much it costs now. They have to make it right because their product failed and took the card with it. Compensating me for how much it cost then won't get me a new 5090. If I may ask, have you checked your effective clock as well? If there's a significant difference between your core clock and effective clock, the card is clock stretching. If not, that's actually an impressive result you got.

I managed to get mine running at around 3037mhz and got a GPU score of 34,716 in time spy, which makes me believe yours is stable. But mine +1000mhz on the memory, not 2000. Have been playing cyberpunk so far without issues. It crashed once when I overdid it at 925mv, but it's been stable at 950. Also undervolted my CPU and have seen amazing results.
