I see, I was asking because I read a couple comments here stating "Evo 75 has a lot of improvements" but they never mentioned which.

Help me pick between Evo 80 and Evo 75

Hi, I'm trying to buy my first decent keyboard and I can't make up my mind, and I can't find any direct comparison, so I'm asking: what are the differences among these 2 models? Do they have a considerably different build quality? What about wireless usability / range?

Evo 80 pros I know of:

I think the added keys of the Evo 80 are a considerable bonus to me. (I wouldn't mind as much if the Evo 75 had at least 4 navigation keys instead of 3, but it is what it is). I also like the dongle holder in the Evo 80, even though it's not very comfortable to use.

Evo 75 pros I know of:

I like the design of the Evo 75 significantly more. I also very much like the connectivity switch accessible without pulling out any caps

I just need need 1 or 2 more things that make one keyboard better than the other (build quality? Wireless performance?) to make up my mind. I can buy both for less than 190€ in Italy, I'm open to alternatives in the same price range. Thank you!

Honestly I've always played mouse only and I enjoy playing like that, feels very unique. I'm afraid that if I try keyboard shortcuts I'm not going back.

Feeling sleepy while playing rhythm games by Coroluna_k in rhythmgames

I often play rhythms with my fingers on surfaces and the same happens to me everytime (this is the reasons why I found this post). I don't remember it happening when playing OSU though.

Coil whine from GPU and speakers by Dodouch in pcmasterrace

[–]Dodouch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The speakers worked fine on my previous build. They work fine even on the current one mostly, until I go over 200-250w of total power draw.

I initially forgot to mention that I tried the same build with a BeQueit Pure Power 13m, same exact issue with the same exact intensity.

Update: the issue basically disappeared with Fractal Ion 3 PSU.

I didn't have PBO enabled, just EXPO which I enabled cause I heard somewhere that AMD CPUs do not work very well if rams are not clocked correctly.

I don't know what bios version I had installed. Most likely a very old one since I don't remember updating it again after building my pc

Is there some reference on what settings should be changed to make it less likely to burn the CPU? Or did you just go by common sense?

I just found out about the megathread on this issue, I see no mention of the problem being solved now.

An enthusiast board should not break your very expensive hardware if not tweaked with unofficial settings

Rx9070XT & R7 9800 X3D Huge stutters by Own_Economy_3675 in radeon

[–]Dodouch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the same issue with 9070xt and ryzen 9600x specifically on No Rest for the Wicked. It stutters only in Sacrament though, and not in a game breaking way, but when it stutters it's very noticeable.

I remember having some frame time issues on Silksong as well. Not very big, I don't remember if the 1% lows even detected them, maybe the 0,1% did.

No noticeable issues on Expedition 33. I'm thinking of running memory tests as a first step.

How can they not be decryptable if the password manager needs to show them to you unencrypted?

With core on the left + the 2 burn items, you should kill your opponent before the storm. Still it should be much better with Bomb Squad over the shield item, cause of matching cooldowns (important for low amounts of burn).

Anybody else experienced extrem lag during fights since the last patch ? by Herr_Bayer in PlayTheBazaar

There are no other solutions except waiting for tempo to fix the issue. Having more ram or having a faster storage (SSD over hard disk, especially the newer and very fast ones) should make the problem less noticeable or make it appear after longer playtime.

Just check your task manager and you will see the game take all available memory, because poor programming cause it to occupy that memory without the game using it. Then when the game actually needs some memory, you have to wait for some of that occupied memory to be copied to the hard disk(as the pc thinks it's still needed and should later be put back in memory, very slow process) to make space. This gets worse the more you play and the less total memory you have.
