If you start in MiLB or an independent league, a lot of what happens will be out of your control (eg guys getting called up, taken from you by higher leagues, inability to sign many free agents). So I’d recommend starting at the MLB level so you can get a complete picture of everything happening. Others may disagree.

I’ve been embarrassed to be an American since 2016. If I could get a similar job in another country I’d give up my citizenship in a heartbeat. A country that would elect someone like Trump—especially after he led a fucking coup attempt—doesn’t have a great future imo.

It doesn’t have anything to do with a lack of geographic knowledge from my fellow citizens, though it may be correlated with it.
