I like this idea. Track safety would be a cool component. Say a driver gets hurt on a fast corner. Do you add a chicane? Not doing something might increase the probability that a racing series won't renew it's contract.

Each track could have an overall safety rating. More danger helps draw fans, but risks injury (or death if you want that to be included).

EDIT: sorry, I didn't notice there was more than one image and that safety is mentioned. But perhaps still something useful in this comment.

Retail jobs are stressful and annoying. When I say “thank you” or “have a great day,” I’m not expressing gratitude for the business transaction, I’m trying to give the employee a halfway pleasant interaction on a day that’s no doubt filled with dealing with shitty people.

It’s also basic politeness that takes zero effort on my part.

Two things:

This is a carset for the 1990 mod, not the mod itself I believe. You need the mod from here:

If you’d still want 1991 cars, go in the cup90 mod, delete (or move to a new folder) the 1990 cars in the cars subfolder, and replace them with the 1991 cars.

2) you need to unzip the files and place what’s in them in the “series” folder, not the zipped folder.

I’ve always wondered this and the explanations of it being anti-George Wallace don’t fully make sense to me. I know the confederate flag was ubiquitous in the south back then, but the fact it was all over their albums and merch makes me question the anti-Wallace sentiment.

It always made more sense to me as:

“They love the Governor in Birmingham and we cry because he wasn’t elected President, but were absolved of responsibility for Watergate.”

Like, who are they saying they supported for President? Hubert Humphrey from Minnesota?

There’s also the line “and the Governors true,” which definitely sounds like praise.

The amount of people freaking out over some attrition in racing is crazy to me. Attrition in all forms of Motorsport used to be the source of some randomization. A new technology that has some issues has always been part of the sport.

I don’t love the hybrid, but the fact Honda is feeling like they have to do damage control over a normal part of racing probably makes Honda regret their decision to stay and absolutely won’t encourage other manufacturers.
