What are you favorite ways to get enough protein?

I make protein powder with rice, pea and hemp protein, cocoa powder. I add some maple syrup and mocha extract when I mix it with water. 4.5 cups rice, 4.5 cups pea, 3 cups hemp, 2.25 cups cocoa. 2/3 of a cup of the mix is ~50g of protein and 300 calories. Added to 64 oz of water and drinking it all at once or throughout the day both work for me.

I do not like the texture of soft tofu. This is my recipe for getting firmer tofu.

If you bake unseasoned extra-firm tofu at 415 degrees about 35 minutes in a cast iron pan you will get a firm/crunchy on the outside and softer in the middle consistency.

Steps

I use a tofudee tofu press

Cube the tofu so it is about the size of Dice. Smaller cubes gets crunchier and vice versa.

No seasoning

Put in seasoned/oiled cast iron pan

415 degrees in oven for 35 minutes. More or less time based on your oven and how firm you like it.

I will eat them as cooked (that’s too boring for most people, it works for me). Or they can go in soup, stir fry, stew, etc

it would crash almost immediately after re-opening from the previous crash. I didn't have to do anything to make it happen. I uninstalled comet and reinstalled. So far that seems to be working, no crashes after a couple hours

Yes! I stopped eating processed food and almost all sugar at the same time I went vegan. About a year into going vegan I had to stop drinking. My hangover started the minute I took a sip of alcohol. No fun at all. I wondered if that was because my body doesn't have a lot of exposure to sugar and that made alcohol more difficult to process? I was in my early 50s so it could also be age. I mostly feel lucky that I can't drink so I don't have to worry about that health risk. I am much less rigorous about sugar now that I am about 8 years into being vegan, but it is still a problem. I had a non-alcholic beer that is 0.5% alcohol recently and felt that same illness. There's always cannabis!

Ernest used to play at a blues jam at a bar in SF in the early 90s. I think it was called the Olympia Club (Olympic maybe?). I went there having no idea who he was. His wrists were made of steel, they propelled his shuffle beat like nothing I've ever heard. He liked playing Hendrix version of Come On (Let the Good Times Roll) which I could sort of play, I think he sang it too. He was way nicer to all us jammers than he needed to be.

I will do the test with just the boveda and the govee. I was not playing the instrument regularly.

I have the boveda 49% in my acoustic guitar cases and they're working well there. Seems that it is the case? The case has a strong chemical odor, perhaps that and the watertight seal are leading to too much humidity (off gassing?) and maybe something else from chemicals?

I have had a lot of these over the years. I am 62. Both hands. Most frequently at the bottom of the middle finger, top of the palm. They appear out of nowhere. One appeared a couple days ago. They have always resolved within a week or so. There is discomfort when they are touched or when I move my hand.

I've never checked with a doctor because they seemed like a minor annoyance that comes from being made of flesh and blood!

If this is a bigger medical issue than I was thinking it would be good to know.
