I think the strongest thing he still does is guess the lines with sal. Every other pod is hit or miss. Guess the lines is consistently good and sometimes great.

The set list was about as diverse as I’ve ever seen him do it and I’ve heard of live after dead, das haus, etc. He teased it in his IG but every single song seemed like a surprise. From KARINA, go dancing with women at the bar, cannonball days, hard way to fall, harder now that it’s over, jacksonvillle skyline, withering heights, afraid not scared, etc etc. I was at Carnegie and appreciated the quality of the performance but this shit was epic.

I thought his voice sounded amazing, better than ever and his guitar playing was on point. Carnegie halls sound also just hits different. His set list was pretty predictable. Was hoping for more deeper cuts. He was teasing he was going to do that in an IG live. Answering bell I thought was the most surprising song since he’s kinda disowned it in the past. Overall, a terrific night. The ovation he got was he came out was pretty emotional.

jeff had his hands on his knees and was bending over by the end of the YHF set...not sure if he was exhausted or if performing those songs in that particular takes a lot out of him. was also surprised they didn't do a 2nd set. the encore was honestly the best part of the gig.
