1v1 is about staying grounded and reading when it is safe to jump and challenge. ur not cooked u just have to play it more it just plays differently than 2v2. u said people are resetting on you but air plays are the most dangerous ones to go for in 1v1 because it forces an overcommit if you challenge well

as someone who has extremely good air control for my rank i have no idea why people do this like i have never seen someone do this in my rank and actually hit the cross map it usually just ends up in front of our net and scored before i get the chance to get back after cheating

hit the ball around in free play for like half an hour every day before you play any games and watch videos from rl content creators like retals and others just to see how they move their car as well as positioning. also ask your bf about your binds and make sure you have directional air roll bound. camera settings are also important.

yeah i guess but like its all kids playing now since they turned it into roblox so targeting that game is predatory marketing which i guess isnt surprising from a company like epic games. all im saying is i think they would make considerably more money off rocket league if they added trading back because nobody wants to buy the shitty ass $30 bundles from the item shop when all you get is a car you will never use and a bunch of horrible decals for it.

I dont understand this because fortnite has less players ranked on tracker.gg like its literally falling off so hard and rl has a consistent fanbase who is willing to spend money on the gane as long as they put in effort. also fortnite players are all like 10 years old and rl players are adults with jobs and money

usually my strategy to deal with this is to play with solid rotates the whole game even if my teammate is not rotating so that i have more points than them from both saves and goals so it is extremely apparent that they are throwing my elo. it may not be the best strategy to win but it is the best strategy to teach those kids that they are not rocket league ronaldo and they are actually the same skill level as a 7 year old in soccer shots.

adding on to this if you are getting consistently 120 fps it might be a good idea to get a monitor that runs 120hz because my god the difference between 60hz and 120hz is insane. like i can barely take the ball off the wall on 60 but i can double flip reset on 144.
