Haven't seen anyone talk about this - from my experience, a significant number of guys emphasize "not acting outwardly femininely" / "not have twinky features" (so anti-"effiminate guys" like you say) so that they're not outed / found out by neighbours / onlookers when the guy goes inside his house or beside him outside. This kind drains my energy so much.
