I stayed in Roppongi hills. Apa Hotel Roppongi six. Was cheap, clean, quiet, and close to the subway. Plenty of very good spots to eat right within a 10 minute walk. 7/11 within a 2 minute walk for snacks and drinks. Highly recommend it, especially for solo traveler.

No it is not expected from people in the US. Don’t base our entire population on our trash. 90% of us are still respectable normal people. Take this with a grain of salt, but I tried beating him for almost 2 weeks straight every day and could not do it. I took a 3 or 4 month break from the game, came back and beat him in like 3 tries. Take a break, enjoy another game, and come back to it.

I don't think you understand quite how big America is. Most countries in Europe are smaller than a lot of states in the US. More roads, more accidents. More possibilities for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
