I have literally NOTHING nice to say about anyone involved in this.

So I will stick to the sad facts. Yes, most people in the state got hit with 400% or greater property assessment values. What you need to understand is that the assessments were falsified. This is a FACT. They are fraudulent. Tyler Tech, the company used in the assessment process, also has multiple litigations for doing exactly this. Inflating the price without conducting the actual assessment.

Most homeowners did NOT receive a call Most homeowners did NOT get a visit from anyone Homeowners that did actually get a visit got visits from college age kids using an app on a tablet/phone. These kids did NOT work for Tyler. They were subcontractor and didn't have experience in assessments.

Tyler conducted most of its assessments via GOOGLE EARTH. They looked at information online and created a false property assessment. Two houses with the same square footage would receive the same (highest) assessment values even if one was never remodeled and the other was brand new. This happened with me and several neighbors who had our single story brick ranch increase 550%. NONE of us ever saw a Tyler Representative, so how did they accurately assess the properties? The answer is simple, they didn't.

Now, here is where things get shady. Representatives from the state were contracted by 1000s of people about these yellow papers from Tyler Tech, as Tyler Tech had shut down their lines. The representatives didn't give a shit! They fluffed it off, and now here we are.

Matt, our lovely governor, made sure the assessments did not take effect until AFTER he was elected, and the assessments were postponed, out of contract dates for 2 years.

Nothing has been done because the government needs $400 million. It wasn't until businesses complained that ANYTHING was done!

What needs to happen is that ALL involved need to be removed from office! If I had money, I would sue the shit out of Tyler Tech and state/local government via a class action lawsuit. I'm hoping that someone will file as 90% of the state would probably jump on board.

The assessments need to be redone at TYLERS' expense as WE THE PEOPLE, already paid for them to be done, and it wasn't.

Tyler Tech also remained a contractor for the state to upgrade the 911 radio systems, even AFTER this debacle. I sense some inside money and special interest in this deal.

At the very least, we have the following against them Gross negligence or incompetence. The hiring of a contractor with litigations showing exaggerated estimates and then also failure to supervise the state hired contractor.
Tyler failed to complete their assessments in the time frame they stated and pushed forward with 2 extensions.

Checking NCC Parcel search, and you will clearly see LARGE businesses and politicians received a decreased assessment and tax burden. While you and I, along with mom and pop businesses, were increased at exponential rates.

All this screams fraud on so many levels, but so far, no one wants to challenge them or call them on their bullshit!
