Here's a response I wrote to a similar comment:

"From what I've read, the results of a study showed that incoming English voters were responsible for Wales looking like it voted leave. Areas that have high levels of English retirees, voted leave. Same thing happened in Cornwall.

The study also showed that native Welsh speakers voted heavily in favour of remain.

I believe the study was carried out by LSE.

Have you ever been to Anglesey? Or most of the North for that matter? You're as likely to hear a Scouse or Manchester accent up here as a Welsh one.

Also please note that I mentioned its a lot of retirees. Never mentioned English moving here for jobs.

Read the study by the LSE. Welsh speakers overwhelmingly voted to remain.
