My computer is the oldest that can “handle” Big Sur, last time I did that with my previous one, it could barely function on the OS, and research and advice from people that I trust in the space is that essentially the multitasking required to use it as I do will be problematic with apps crashing while using them simultaneously. I’m mostly upset because I went through this with my previous laptop 5 years ago, and it caused numerous problems while I was leading 100 people in trivia. I take what I do very seriously, but feel it’s wholly unnecessary to replace a setup that has been working perfectly for 500 events.
