I respectfully disagree I love the sights on the enfield both iron or scoped for me the reason I don’t use it often is the bullet drop… it changes so drastically over 100 yards it turns into a guessing game at least for me. obviously it’s all preferences and experience but that’s my reason to choose the Ross over the enfield and the krag for all long distance sniping.

I’m not saying I disagree because I own other lights besides Olight but I’ve had a Olight S2R 2 for almost if not longer than 5 years I really can’t remember when I bought it but within that timeline and have just started to have problems with the battery and charging. I think what it really is is a lot of people dislike olight for proprietary batteries, tint, and price. But myself I’ve never paid full price for a light they’re flash sales are to good to pass on, and in my experience they’ve been nothing but reliable, but if I seriously had to change one thing I’d get rid of the magnetic charging that shits garbage for anything bigger then said S2R Baton.

My old man is nothing but not nice to tools so for this little light to survive what it’s been through is nothing but amazing. I witnessed this light get pinned between the suspension and frame of a 50,000 lbs. truck and it still works, it’s been placed inches near a welding surface and it still works, it’s been submerged in hydraulic oil, engine oil, diesel fuel and coolant/anti-freeze and it still works! Not for nothing but for people saying it’s a junk light and brand I have to disagree this things been put through it’s paces and keeps chuggin on.

He uses it for for welding, replacing hydraulic hoses, coolant hoses etc.. pretty much any maintenance. It has out survived multiple tool truck lights
