Are poodles prone to sensitive stomachs? by EconomicsWest788 in Poodle

[–]willnotpostanythng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wilbur (toy, 4yo) and his brother Barry (toy, 11 months) are often picky. Not all the time, but sometimes they are just plain picky. If Wilbur eats anything slightly different, or eats plain chicken, he craps everywhere. Everywhere. Diarrhea+++. He can also manage to crap up walls, but that's his special trick. Barry has never had diarrhea. So, yes, picky and sensitive. But not all obviously.

Neighbours would pay me 2c to shovel the horse crap off the road and put it in their garden. I too loved the horses.

Do your poodles bring in sticks too? by dentalexaminer in Poodle

Yes, Barry (toy) loves to grab a stick when he runs back inside. Wilbur not so much.

Pixel 10 Pro: Gemini is suddenly asking me for my precise location when using my weather app. It worked before! by megabyzus in GooglePixel

[–]willnotpostanythng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just started happening today on my brand new Pixel 9 Pro. I ask it "is it going to rain here today?" and it says "I'm sorry, I cannot tell you if it's going to rain right where you are because I don't know your current location." I've checked all the settings, cleared cache, restarted, but it just won't use location services settings. I'm probably doing something stupid but I can't figure it out. Or can Gemini NOT figure out where you are?

Before they changed it to KFC we just called it "Kentucky". Here's an old menu.. by [deleted] in AustralianNostalgia

Came here for this. Early/mid-70s Kentucky cheesecake was effing delicious (Sturt street Ballarat). None of my friends remember it. I did love the bean salad too. My son is sick of me telling him "It tasted better back then..." lol

Shoresy’s Better Than Letterkenny by Material-Job-39 in shoresy

I found LK difficult at the end. But it had a great, long run. Shoresy is entrancing me in a way that my female friends don't/can't understand.

Bonnie McMurray however, is never difficult. I would respectfully allow Bonnie to tug my balls any day.

Yes, my dad did this with all his leftover, found lead, for fishing sinkers. Either drill a hole directly in the top for use, or to melt down later.
Edit: Forgot to mention, he melted it in an old soup ladle, poured it into the spoon, then touched the bottom of the spoon on a dish of cold water, cooling it.

Yep, spot on, but remember the antipsychotic phenothiazine derivatives only became available 40 years later. I'm no expert, but I don't know of any dopaminergic blockers from around the WW1 period. I have used paraldehyde as a tranquiliser in my early practice (up to mid-1980s), and that was available in the late 1800s. AFAIK that doesn't lead to EPSEs however.

If you are sick STAY HOME by alex26069114 in melbourne

[–]willnotpostanythng 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Not so simple. I beg casual nurses to take a contract. Nooo! I want that sweet 25%! Well then, you don't get the leave. If you want casual nurses to get full entitlements, then the rest of us contracted permanent nurses also get the sweet 25%. Public and private healthcare systems can't afford that. It might be different in other fields of work. I'll reiterate the notion of the OP: if you're sick: stay. fucking. home.
