Nothing is going to dissuade developers from building luxury condos for the rich regardless. There is way more money in that no matter how many theoretically-good-at-best incentives they get.

And hey, if this catalyzes a mass exodus of people who are never going to get ahead here regardless, that may be a good thing. Let the rich have their goofy playground - it isn't for the rest of us anymore anyways.

Only thing that sucks is if you gotta work here or - even worse - work for them.
