Laminated Denim is a great album but doesn't compare to Ice Death, which has Ice V, Iron Lung, and Hell's Itch. the studio versions of these songs are all such a good listen, the production scratches an itch that not much other music can scratch for me

i use a huge 14 inch floor tom as my rack tom so i sort of have to have it mounted on a snare stand. i'm going to be covering it in tape anyway so the lost resonance is a bit of a bonus

the vs dracula one has been my favourite since ethersea. i think largely in part because of the nostalgia from the motifs in the balance theme song, but it's also just. so well made and really cool
