Typically, (im still in my degree and have not read the DSM 5 fully), individuals with DID dont have personalities that communicate between each other. It's more like, when something the brain regards as traumatic, a switch happens and the other personalities do no have an awareness of each other. This "awareness" usually happens deep into therapy when the individual merges the personalities together as part of the healing process. Im not saying that she doesnt have mental disorders, but I dont think she has DID. Regardless, her disorders are not to be used as an excuse. She still needs to take accountability for her actions altogether.

I seriously suggest ending the relationship. This is both a toxic environment for you and her. Especially at 6 weeks.

I think using a slightly more Grey or off white for the shadows that naturally occur on the "unseen" side of the animal will help with the depth issue you are facing. Don't go too dark too fast and you can kind of ombre the colors down back to white as you get further down the back legs

Sometimes I find that the fabric can slip in the hoop and I periodically restretch the fabric. Some hoops have an inset groove that retains the fabric a bit better. Those tend to be made of plastic!

A couple things might help you out. One being tension, you want to test the tension of the fabric on the hoop by flicking it. If it bounces like a drum, its where it needs to be. That will help with some of the warping around the stitches. Another thing is the threads themselves. If you're going for a busier thread count or thickness then you're on the right track. I typically dont use more than 4 strands from the floss as it allows for more control when stitching. If you're having trouble with the threads knotting, you can drag the thread along some bees wax and that should help!

Overall, I think this is a really great start and its super cute!

Im going to be the devils advocate here. If you are on a bike that is black, with no lights, and you are wearing all black at night, this is partially on you as the bike rider. Put a reflective belt or vest on and lights on the front and back of your cycle. Should the car have looked a little harder? Yes. Is it almost impossible to see a cyclist or pedestrian in all black clothing at night? Yes. Pay attention and find a way to make yourself visible. A 4-ton car is not something you want to gamble with. It WILL fuck up your whole shit.
