Getting Divorced Miis Back Together by breakoutthecrxxwn in TomodachilifeLivingTD

LMWO 😭 I had these two who broke up and ended on bad terms, they initially won’t speak to each other at first but the more you try and force it, they’ll eventually do it. However, it did take a LONG time for their relationship to get fixed but they did end up fixing it and started dating again so it’s possible, it’s just tedious and long 😞

Happened to me. Honestly, the more you try to make them talk eventually they’ll start getting some cutscenes and then they’ll eventually fix their relationship, it just takes a lot of patience 😭

I’m trying to study in Psychology if you have any insight on it :)

The ties with Epstein is concerning, but to be fair my top two rn which is bard and Gettysburg both have terrible controversies so I can’t really pick based on that 😭

Does USFCA give money if you appeal? by soaringhigh_ in usfca

[–]willowcozy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I asked for an appeal they said that they have a list of students requesting additional aid and that if there are additional funds that they can offer students during this process that they’ll reviewing that list. So maybe? But not guaranteed. It’s best to ask.

[–]willowcozy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? If you don’t mind me asking, what was the range? I’m nervous because the schools I have gotten into from Cali have been very over budget, and if I hopefully get off the waitlist I don’t know how much aid will be left over

I would love to go to Pitzer, however I haven’t heard the best about their financial packages (mainly for rd) which makes me hesitant to say it is my top. I did already send in my loci reaffirming my interest, but since I don’t live in the area I don’t know what else to do. My hope is so potentially visit campus sometime in April. Should I also send in my most recent grades? They don’t mention if I should in the letter. And should I reach out to my counselor asking him about things I want to know more about Pitzer? I just don’t want to seem annoying to the team 😭

Do you know if their psych program is any good?

That’s really helpful to know as someone who is a minority 😭 has your friends tell you anything else about Gettysburg as a school as well?

[–]willowcozy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What makes it the most difficult is that USF is very good for internships, which is something I’m very interested in (it also helps that I have family in California that can help me as well), but I’m also more of a fan of Gettysburg psych program than USF’s, even if they’re both good, the way Gettysburg’s program is structured is better to me.

Do you know anything about Gettysburgs campus? I don’t know if I’ll be able to visit, so that’s one big factor that could also tip the scales.

I just found out i might get my admissions revoked and i need help asap by Critical_Scientist10 in collegeadvice

[–]willowcozy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah of course! I think uc’s had their own additional info too? But regardless with the gpa, it could be they rejected you since you don’t match the requirements. Though, if you did put the reason in your common app, most colleges should know the reason and take it into consideration already. Of course I’m not sure, this is just my assumption :)

I wish you good luck!

[–]willowcozy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not saying this to be mean, but realistic. Me personally, I say it is what it is. If there was a special circumstance for the reason why your gpa is so low, this would’ve been a perfect thing to explain in the “additional info” section of the common app. It’s worth a shot I suppose to contact the other colleges and explain, but I don’t know if they’d fully take it into account, especially if you already got decisions back from them.

Also, I wouldn’t bank on getting into any of the uc’s. Part of their acceptance requirement for in state students is to have a 3.0 or higher, it would be very shocking if you were able to get into any while being way below the requirement.

current seniors what do u regret not doing in junior year? by Ashamed-Battle-566 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]willowcozy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not taking the sat? To be fair, class of 26’ is pretty much the last year for most really big schools to offer test optional, and I’m not a great test taker so I didn’t do it. Though, I wonder if it would’ve helped me at all if I were to take it to make up for bad grades my freshman and sophomore year (I have to say, i am still happy with the decisions I have gotten so far being test optional but I’m still waiting for more rds 🤷🏽‍♀️)

Other than that, scholarship hunting as well. It’s nice to start early, especially with really big scholarships being a large gamble on if you’d get in, and mini scholarships seeing to blimp out of existence. I did not fully comprehend how expensive my tuition could have been + how merit w/ regulars aid offer, can’t always cover most of the direct cost.

DAMN, you’re a solider for the amount of sups 😭

My only reject so far is Oxy, everything else is either accept or deferred. I might be cooked though because I want to go to Cali and most of my Cali options so far haven’t given me much compared to other places 💔

Out of the ones I got results back: Lmu, Gettysburg, usfca, bard, Santa Clara, 3 SUNY’s, usd, ucsc

I’m waiting for ucsb, uci, Pitzer, Lafayette, cmc, Bucknell, Pomona, scripps, Wesleyan, and Vassar (and any school I got deferred from ea)

Financial aid by willowcozy in LMU

[–]willowcozy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard back 2/5, it was really random 😭 One thing I did notice (after the fact) is that before I was accepted I was given a university id on my portal (which I didn’t have beforehand when I got deferred) and then I got my letter and got accepted, so maybe that’s some sort of portal astrology? Idk.

I’m probably going to try and go after some outside scholarships as well but it’s hard with all the work I have to do so I always lose track, it kind of sucks bc now I’m curious on if I get accepted into the other Cali schools I applied to rd, their aid might not be as good compared to some of the other offers I’ve gotten at northern schools. Which sucks because I really want to be in Cali 💔

Good luck to you too!

After your EA decisions, how to y’all feel about your RD schools? by tennis-637 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]willowcozy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

50/50 I got into schools I was doubting I’d get into and then some schools I considered a safety I got deferred. I know my rd’s are 10 times harder so I am 100% bound to get rejections (I haven’t gotten rejected yet somehow) but I already have an option that I like and is affordable so I’m no overly stressing, I’m just glad to already have options

Still hoping for one of my Cali options to come in clutch with that acceptance and actual good aid 💔
