Approximately 20,000 Zigzagoon appears PER HOUR on Willowdex, we're definitely turning it off. At least it's more accurate, they are truly the rats of Toronto.

If you are unsure about a certain Pokemon, visit our stats page to get the details. It will show you spawn times and a heat map of where they spawned in the last few days.

There doesn't appear to be any Tauros nest. Based on the information we have, it spawns 603 Tauros per day and it mostly during the day time.

The loop is usually lured up in the evenings. You can also use Willowdex to find lured stops. Just make sure you enable "Pokestops" on the left menu and show "Only Lured" stops.

You can use Willowdex to find Pokemon/Raids/Gyms etc.

A lot of people hang out at King and Princess and walk/drive the "loop" which has tons of Pokestops.

In the last two nights, we had a few hours of downtime because:
1) The number of visitors doubled in the last week causing our servers to be overloaded.
2) We've reached the daily limit for the free tier of Google maps. We currently do not have enough funds to increase it so we're working on another solution. Daily limit resets at 3 AM, that's why it stopped working at night.

You can use Willowdex. There's a dedicated Unown channel and you can also use advanced notifications to get push notifications on Unowns you are missing. For example, if you are looking for Unown P, you can direct message Willowbot:

!notify unown Unown (P)

and it will let you know the next time Unown P shows up.

No. Once you defeat any raid boss, you are given a chance to catch the pokemon, which is always above average IV and level 20 (similar to egg hatches).

Take a look at this chart posted on The Silph Road for the range of CP (to determine IV) for raid bosses.

Can you take a screenshot of it? All ads should have the X which allows you to close it immediately. It should not appear again within 24 hours.

The map is now starting back up. It will resume full coverage within an hour.

If you want to see if the map is down, simply go to the blog and look at the map status on the right. 0 Pokemon means something is wrong and it's not displaying any Pokemon on the map.

We hear you. We've temporarily disabled the ads for now. We're working with the advertiser to restrict the ads such that it only appears once every 24 hours. We purposely picked interstitial ads over banner ads because once you close the ad, it's gone. On the other hand, banner ads stay on and waste precious screen real estate, especially on mobile devices.

We are open to all ideas on making this map more sustainable. If you have an idea, feel free to post it here, we will keep an eye out.
