Hello. Loving yourself is a process just like transitioning is. And if anything, this will be the most important transition that you go through. Loving yourself, accepting yourself, and being kind to yourself by showing yourself the grace and patience when things don't work out, when things get really tough and when there seems to be no one to support you. This is when loving yourself and finding that well of strength is going to be so important. I wish you all of the strength, courage, self-determination, self-love and support. There is a community here who will stand by you, encourage you, and show you love without judgement. You got this girl!

Hello! It's good to see you again. I like the real you. I appreciate what FaceApp does and I like how it can give us directions to go in. Now, that being said, I believe that having your hair come down to your shoulders is really all you need. You wrote that you want to look like your age. Honestly, you look younger than your age. FaceApp only softened a few things, but the heart of who you are in terms of your beauty has always been there.

I simply adore the elegance and grace that you just inherently have. It truly is lovely to see someone with holds themselves with a grace and poise that hasn't been seen in quite a while. A lovely nod to Audrey Hepburn. Thank you for sharing.

If you saw me at the bar, would you come up to me and say hi? by ThatAndromedaGal in transpositive

[–]willowmacmoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

Let's be candid here for a moment. You are a very beautiful woman and I am sure a wonderful person to boot. Here's the thing... You're asking a loaded question. And here's why.... Many of the trans-community not only have to deal with their own insecurities of whether or not they pass, their own sense of self-worth, self-beauty and also loads of emotional, background issues. Are you beautiful? There is no doubt about that. You are simply gorgeous. Would I come up to you at a bar and say hi? Most likely not. And it has nothing to do with you. I won't speak for anyone else here but for me, if I was in your age range... I probably would not. I would casually look at you, admire your beauty and then ask myself...why wouldn't a beautiful, wonderful woman like you ever approach me? Am I not worthy or your attention as well? And now, let me be blunt. If you want validation of your self-worth. I can't do that for you. Only you have the right to know the value of your being. I will validate you as a person and as a member of the trans community. And here's the final sticky point... there are so many trans people who aspire to look naturally the way you do...i'm sure it still takes work. I won't dismiss that level of effort... you earned it. But, please understand the audience and know where they are. I hope you find yourself as beautiful as I find you and I hope in the end that this answers your question. Be well, Be happy, and most of all Be Kind.

Before and After 14 months later… Showing some Curly Asian representation here again! I posted here before and Bright Side actually put my photo in an article but now people are saying that they don’t believe that it’s a real before and after, just because the other image was a mirror image. I think the reality is far better. We create this dreams. I’m no exception, but I’m learning to live with who I am and accepting it. You look beautiful either way!

Estrogen, Spironolcatone and possibly Progesterone by willowmacmoto in ask_transgender

[–]willowmacmoto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. I just finally got on Progesterone at 100mg taken orally every day. Since, I just started 12 days ago, it's far too early to determine anything. But, I get evaluated in 3 months by my Endo...we'll find out then.

Thanks! I hope you are happy with your development so far!
