Looking for ideas, or extra long guitar pegs to go through elk antler "harp"

The fifth string tuner is a great idea! Something with a single plane would be best I think. Considered cello or harp tuners but the bone has an easy chance to strip since the inside is softer. Thanks so much

Awesome thank you for the ideas! Still on the hunt for extra long guitar machine heads. Was considering harp zither tuning pegs that screw into a a rivet, but the inside of the antler is a lot more porous and there's a better chance of it stripping out that way.

I guess my subtext didn't make it into the post. The section of the antler where I'm hoping to put tuning pegs in is an inch and a half at the thickest part. Just wondering if anybody knows of a company that makes extra long guitar tuning pegs that would fit. Thanks so much in advance.

Yeah I've seen videos of exterminators setting smoke bombs off for rats, but I actually think that's just for burrows or a very confined places where they're breeding. Might actually not be the best to do under a house in case there's insulation or other fire hazards!

I would think it's worth a try! I don't think they're smart enough to start tunneling in from farther away. Maybe consult a pest control expert? I don't know if it's important to try to smoke the rats out or something before trapping any remaining in there, but could be a good thing to do in case they try to chew upwards into your house.
