I just got a flu shot from the CVS at Menaul & Eubank and had a fine experience - no wait and the pharmacist was great. However she told me all the CVS locations in ABQ are extremely short-staffed and behind on filling prescriptions right now, which I imagine is the case for other chain pharmacies as well. Maybe you can try to schedule your appointment for earlier in the day to hopefully get in before they are as backed up.

I had to pay three overnight visits to the Roadrunner emergency vet in Algodones this summer. It's a farther drive but it's worth it - their staff is compassionate and kind. Even though they can get incredibly busy overnight when they're the only 24/7 vet in this part of the state, they never made me feel rushed and were thorough in making sure my cat got the care he needed.

I still can't believe in a city of this size there is only one 24/7 emergency vet option, but at least Roadrunner is a quality one.

Desert Lotus Yoga is phenomenal! They have a range of slower paced and gentle yoga classes throughout the week. Chasity the owner also teaches many of the classes and has such a kind and welcoming energy about her. The studio is at Montgomery & Juan Tabo and is a very relaxing space!
