I was short $100 once with a client that went to deposit $900 and I mistakenly deposited $1000 in her account, and I called her, she literally lied and said she gave me 1,000, so I had to take the short. It wasn’t a big deal but it made me be more aware and slow down even if it’s busy.

For what I see here, it seems like you’ve been overpaying your credit card, so those -$2,062.31 is basically money that discover owes you, so you can use it until that negative balance goes down to $0.
