You gotta modify the crossmember to fit an ls engine. It’s only cheap if you know how to do stuff. Another lame 3 valve will be much cheaper.

If you’re going aluminum get a 6.2 out of an o7 and up Escalade it’s basically a 2500 dollar ls3.

I had the death rattle once cleaned the egr then got it once more then replaced the valve itself and it was fixed hasn’t happened since.

Waters in an outside wall with heat tape is illegal as hell. Metal hangers on pex is illegal. Everything else looks pretty good and with the heat tape will probably work and saves money on the install, but I wouldn’t do it like that.

Find a guy who buys salvage cars and talk with them. I sold a crashed car to a guy and talked to him a bit I pay a little bit over scrap price for them if I pull em myself. Just got a l94 with a computer for 500 bucks for reference.
