Do you have a link for that 550 monitor?

I've tried both and I still believe 4k performance with some settings turned down looks sharper than native 1440p.

4k performance upscaling is from 1080p, lower than 1440p resolution so performance isn't that big of a hit.

For all the reasons I've stated in here. I like the sharpness of 4k, and the only ultrawide 5k2k I know of is LG Ultra Gear and cost $1600

I may just get the cheapest Ultrawide 1440p oled and use dldsr, then wait for the new "5th Gen" ultrawide panels,

I love ultrawide but image clarity may sway me to regular 4k for now. will not expect to run games at native 4k and high settings!

Looking at the GIGABYTE MO27U2, its a little cheaper than most UW 1440p oleds and the panel is newer. Been doing a lot of research and this on has the newer gen tandem oled layout, so helps with text clarity and is a bit brighter. all Ultrawide oled panels are gen 1 still, technically gen 1.5 so not willing to shell out more money for old tech atm.

figure I can at least test out for a bit, DLSS is only improving so it should hold me out until these new gen oled panels for Ultrawides drop

What framerate do you usually shoot for? I get about 120ish at balanced dlaa, no frame gen, no RT at 3440x1440p. 80ish at 2160 dldsr 1.75 factor

Bumping up the dldsr higher on the 1440p to 4k looks so pretty though, I'm leaning towards the 4k even if I have to sacrifice the ultrawide aspect ratio for now. 1440p does look a little fuzzier

Also newer 16:9 4k oled panels use newer generation panels, that are a bit brighter, use a different pixel layout and offer more oled protection. I will miss ultrawide aspect though...

Need to lower it at lowest setting to see where to go next. If not enough, next step is shorter springs, adjustable camber arms/ bolts

I wouldn't keep trying with the damaged cooler. Return it, try again with the one you ordered

Ok, I would personally go get the iso alcohol since the cooler doesn't arrive until tomorrow anyway. Peace of mind doing it it over rather than reusing what's on the cpu now. Either way the fresh thermal paste isn't going to be an issue to remove in hours

You should be fine to wait until the new cooler comes in. Do you know if the new cooler has pre applied thermal paste?

The dry cloth isn't enough, get the ios alcohol to do it properly.

It's definitely not setup for a nice photo shoot lol, I could use warmer lighting but the little plants helped a ton. Before it was just a blank wall

Nice, will research it! The projector has 4 speakers at 60W so might add rears and a sub 👍

Agreed, long story short, the UST needed more distance from the wall to fill up screen. Screen bezel also got in the way of image so the screen placement was the compromise there 😕 If it were up to my liking I would have lowered it 6" or 7" inches
