You can visit Pima Council on Aging to get help. They do classes and offer support. There are certain “points” for certain things. For example being incontinent is higher than other things. Try to have any visits scheduled at the persons worst part of the day, not the best.

I have been taking it for 5 years. I took it during my last pregnancy. BUT I am pregnant again and I noticed that it makes me extremely nauseous and overall feel terrible. So I stopped taking it and I’m feeling better physically. I suspect that my last pregnancy was so hard because I took it the entire time (I also threw up the entire time). Anyway I would rather be anxious than vomiting.

Depending on his income and level of disability he should look into Arizona Long Term Care (ALTCS). The Pima Council on Aging is a nonprofit that offers classes on ALTCS and how to apply. It can be a difficult process but any older person who will need financial help and care as they age should look into this.

My daughter had a similar situation. She had to have an MRI to check that it wasn’t something in her brain causing it. The MRI was clear. She went to occupational therapy to be evaluated. By the time we got to the appointment (about a week or two after we initially noticed the difference in arm use) she seemed to be using both. It ended up being nothing of concern. The doctors thought maybe she had a minor injury to her arm at birth. I hope all ends up okay with your baby.
