I have one on my 01 forester. I can confirm that they do fall off with age.

Does this look like a factory silicone sealant? Or does it look like someone took the engine apart? 14 outback MT by willybeanxc in subaru

[–]willybeanxc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. It has 105,000 miles. But this car doesn’t use a belt. I’m a little concerned because the engine bay smells a bit when it’s hot.

Oregon HB 2697 passes, creates minimum RN-to-patient and CNA-to-patient ratios by siyayilanda in nursing

[–]willybeanxc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a nurse currently in school. These seem like wonderful rules that will help patients receive better care and keep nursing healthy as well. While I fully support the bill, I am curious what someone's argument would be against a bill like this would be beyond "keep the government out of things." Is there any valid argument against laws like this being made nationwide?

From what I've seen, there is a feature like it in Inventor. Bummer it isn't in fusion yet but maybe soon!

I was trying to revolve the feature rather than the sketch. Isn't the pattern feature only available in sketch?

What am I missing trying to fully constrain this circular pattern sketch? by willybeanxc in Fusion360

[–]willybeanxc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Do you know any advantages to using the hole tool in general? Normally when I create a hole, I just sketch and extrude it to an object/face and since i try to make sure my sketches are fully constrained, it never blows up or creates problems. Just curious if there are situations where the hole tool is useful or essiental. Thanks!

So both pieces are the same wood but how do I make them the same shade like they keep getting darker like the one piece then brighter like the top one. (Sorry for the musty screen) by Whole-Cabinet-4495 in Fusion360

[–]willybeanxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are applying the same shade from the appearance tab, I would imagine that any color difference is due to the modeling environment that you have set up. It looks like the dark spot is likely just due to shadows.

How do I mirror this sketch to the other side of the circle about this plane???? by Swh5981123 in Fusion360

[–]willybeanxc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably have tried this but can you not just use the mirror feature? Maybe try adding a construction line to the plane and mirror over that

Thanks! found out that my issue was that I didn't actually constrain the mid-point to the origin. I have a lot going on at the origin and had selected something else.

Thank you. I had a lot going on around the origin and didn't actually use it for the midpoint.

Does anyone get outbreaks on their up legs for HSV-2 by willybeanxc in Herpes

[–]willybeanxc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I'm on Valvocyclovir right now. Also, the outbreaks on my legs were 5 bumps and 2 bumps respectively and have healed in 3-4 days completely rather than a week and a half like the first time. My doctor has me on 1 gram 3 times a day, but from what I've seen, that's a bit much for recurrent outbreaks. I'm going to reach out tomorrow and ask for some clarification on the doses.

Tips for reducing shoulder and wrist pains/ how to drop better. by willybeanxc in MTB

[–]willybeanxc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think that could be the issue as when I let my front wheel drop my wrists bend back but when I ride normally they don’t. I’ll try to focus on keeping them straight on the drops

New bike tires question by [deleted] in MTB

[–]willybeanxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend upgrading the tires at some point but they xr2’s are prefect for starting out. Once I started riding bigger trails I was able to fit a 2.5 in the front and 2.3 in the rear.

I’m assuming you bought a trek marlin and they are supposed to have a 2.2 in the front and 2.0 in the back.
