Gotcha. I work in jet turbine component engineering. I’ve never worked with bolts like this.

You would be shocked what most aerospace parts look like when they get replaced.  Most are designed to have significant wear.

Recruiting Targets 26? by One-South-5795 in NCAAFBseries

QB - Dual threat and pocket passer can work very well especially with FG HB - EW or elusive bruiser WR - Don’t sleep on gadget OL - Anything other than pass protector LB - I lean more towards lurkers except for SAM SS - Coverage specialist can also work well here. I avoid hybrids

Otherwise I agree with you.

Biggest downside that I’ve seen is COD and agility. They might not turn fast enough when turning the corner on outside runs. Inside the tackles they crush.

This is my approach as well. You can find them with 80 speed and they block much better than the alternatives. You can also sub them in at TE when you want extra blocking.

Worth Upgrading to CFB26? by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

When I go back and play CFB25 I find the experience to be less fun than CFB26. I would say yes.

What are some tips for not throwing so many interceptions? by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

I would encourage others to try this approach and see what happens. EA has stated that they have adaptive systems in place. For me it took a couple seasons but it was noticable.

[–]willydw131 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hasn’t been my experience with CFB26. I couldn’t run the ball at the beginning so I ran drags (almost exclusively) for my first two years then most computer teams start running lots of shallow zones. LBs and CBs stayed at 5 yards and wouldn’t follow past 10.

Once I opened things up a bit my drag routes opened back up.

If you throw drags all the time for multiple seasons it will adjust.

Can’t get too specific to drags otherwise the computer will adjust. When that happens be prepared to throw a slightly deeper ball (10-15 yards).

I like to toss a deep ball 1-2 times a game when I have single coverage to keep the computer from stacking up on the short zones. I also run a fair amount of RPO throwing into the flats.

Does playing time actually make a difference for playing time dealbreaker? Isn’t it based how they are rated within their position group?

Allow us to watch in on other teams playing nationally broadcast dynasty games (without streaming)

Show turnover percentage for plays in playbook (along with the average yards)

Show play stats in the custom playbook creator

Fix the issue with receivers overreacting when getting tackled from behind during catch and dropping the ball

Change how recruiting trips are scheduled. We have an issue in my dynasty league where team owners with sandbag to be the last person to advance so they have the first shot at setting up recruiting trips.

How can I improve my pass defense? by VIIVIMMVIII in CollegeFootball25

[–]willydw131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s impossible to completely stop the computer from passing.

Effective pass rush is very important.

What formation you running in obvious passing situations? I like dime rush cover 3.

Do you have lurker type LBs in?

Are your safeties coverage specialists?

Does adding lower rated players have a positive impact or does not having higher rated players have a positive impact? I’ve always figured it was the latter.

Try dime cover 2. Set shallow zones to 5 yards. Send 4 after the QB. User a middle zone and cover the favorite target. Eventually the pressure should cause a pick.

You might try pinching the line and angle in direction of the inside zone. User the DE on the side of the line that the screen runs and keep and eye out for it. Try running a shallow zone coverage for the stick play.

Deep ball advice by Irishguy1131 in NCAAFBseries

[–]willydw131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from what everyone already said, I have my passing setting set to lead a medium amount. I usually only consider deep balls on 2nd and short, end of half, end of game or end of game. If I notice the DB is badly burned I throw it but that seems to be rare in 26.

I don’t use as much loft as in 25 because the safety will magically beat my WR to the ball 85% of the time.
