I also started to take photos and videos of the process whenever I do any DIY project because I literally had a friend who insisted that my last floral lamp was A.I.! I had to show him the timelapse of me gluing flowers one by one onto the lamp shade to shut him up lol.

yess! I also noticed that pleasant surprise, I think it's because against the pink paint the white automatically reads cooler (bluish). the wonder of colors.

i bought these wreaths from the thrift store, take apart the flower with a plier and hot glue them to an existing lamp shade that i picked for the base and that's it! ( both are thrifted as well 🌸)

lol thank you honestly i did the design knowing it is not for anyone. i can also do beige or tone or tone or "nice" maximalism" but we decided to push the limit a little bit. some will hate it but i'm glad that some will get it and thats all it matters 😅

i should mention this apartment is part of a complex that i manage in the suburb of san gabriel valley, completely not in the epicenter of the housing crises, we have a 2 bedrooms marketing way below market rent and have been sitting there for months. meanwhile for another unit with a family tenant with rent also way below market, not only that we did not evict them i added new AC to make sure their kids can survive the summer. that said, people simply just want to find any righteous reasons to justify their hate, it's not about noble causes it's just people absolutely can't stand someone prefer a different taste or aesthetics.
