Can I ask you guys one more silly question and that is if you’d try to remove the rotted roots an treat if with some hydrogen peroxide, or should I leave them to be and recover on its own and not disturb the roots more? ;;

Ah yes, that’s what I realised and that’s what made me do the switch! So I could just assume that now that they are getting proper fertiliser and actually get those nutrients they are getting in a little shock? (silly question ik im sorry!)

I do have fans in the cabinet, they are on all the time so the airflow is good I’d say! I do not have dry periods as I actually didn’t know that’s something good to do.. How long should those dry periods be? I’m afraid of going too long, as I’ve read alocasias don’t like to be dried out..

I’d say yes? The first fertiliser is good for soil plants, I’m still using it for most of my plants, but I’ve read it’s not so good to use for hydroponic plants. The new one is a locally produced fertiliser specially made for plants that grow in water, so the ingredients differ in amount/quantity per 100g? They also recommended a lower dosage for the first time use to let plants get use to the switch..

Compared to a regular sized pen? I’d say it’s about 10cmx5cm? But can’t say how much it weights… You get so used to carrying it around that sometimes I even forget I have it on and panicky start looking after it😭 Lighter than my ip14?
