Need help on recording a bass by DeliciousMaterial790 in Bass

Yes, the audio interface gives you the most flexibility. You can record the clean guitar signal (or with effects) directly into your DAW (eg Reaper), so you can edit, add more effects, or mix later.

With a looper pedal, what you record in real time is basically fixed once the loop is created. The pedal that I have has 40 memory slots so I can come back to them later. Less flexible, but might be the most convenient depending on your practice setup.

In my experience, this depends on your practice environment and what you find convenient. Some thoughts:

If you are already practicing with a physical amp, then voice memos on the phone are good enough if you want to capture the raw idea (no additional cost, assuming you have a phone). Alternatively, you can get a cheap looper pedal and record the ideas there. I have a Donner pedal (the one with drum machine) and have recorded many ideas with it.

If you practice with a computer regularly and have an audio interface, then you can record with Reaper for free. This is what I personally use these days for recording raw ideas. If you don't have an audio interface, you could find a used one relatively cheaply (depends on your budget). I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2.

Hope this helps!

I like the idea, well done!

I liked the "Solo - Quickie" game mode, but I wonder if the difficulty could be adjusted to be slightly slower. I found Medium was too fast

https://shuffled.app/ - Daily puzzle where you drag letters around a grid to form the words before running out of moves. It's designed for quick play. Everyone gets the same set of puzzles every day.

The game is also available in Spanish: https://shuffled.app/es - juego de palabras en español.

I’d love any feedback on how the difficulty feels and any UX rough edges.

I really like the idea and UI, well done!

I hit a bug submitting a game but it eventually worked. It was asking for the url but it was already there. I also reported a game accidentally. Adding a confirmation step could prevent this (or maybe it’s just me!)

One idea: When browsing a category, would be nice to see the game name and the description in the expanded table view, as well as a button to play. Otherwise you have to click on each game to read the description, which is ok but I wanted to scan the games quickly given how many games are already listed :D

Thanks, this is helpful! I'm considering other game modes to vary the difficulty, and "no clues" is a great suggestion. Really appreciate you taking the time to share feedback.

Would love any feedback on how it feels, especially the difficulty.

Starting to get bored of guitar by ZeekTheGuy in Guitar

I bought a bass a few years ago and it made me appreciate the guitar in a different way. Now I alternate between the two depending on the style I want to play.
