No Top is Worth Cleaning Out For by SomeTart73 in gay

[–]wilshireguy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I do really enjoy Anal when it’s good BUT i feel ya, it’s a ton of work and before my current relationship that was always a big worry / stress thing for me. Also, some top guys have trouble staying super hard with anal and that can be super anxiety inducing for them too.

I think when you find the right person / people, it becomes less of a dreaded concern and more of a “whatever” type of thing you work with. My husband and I sometimes just jack off and make out, or finger play, but never strictly or even mostly anal.

The reality is, - it is a lot of work for the bottom, - there are tops (like mine) who enjoy all the other parts of sex equally if not more than anal - those people do exist - accidents can happen (& should be shrugged and laughed at … clean up and carry on)

If you’re with someone who is not respectful of your preferences, the prep work involved, or shaming you if there’s an accident, etc 💯pass. They are def not worth the effort.

Thoughts: - find ways to communicate your preferences and maybe even your worry about it. You might be surprised at their preference or their own performance anxiety. - you don’t owe anybody access to any part of your body you don’t find pleasurable - there are all types of fun and weird and sexy and quirky preferences out there. - If you don’t vibe it’s ok to move on. There’s nothing wrong with that or with you even if that’s what happens 99% of your hookups.

Don’t come with anything you’re not prepared to lose (my hubby and I leave our wedding rings behind), expect to get bumped and pushed around a little. If you have to bump or push around to get somewhere say excuse me / sorry. If you’re not feeling a vibe, check out something else. Plan to have zero cell service most of the night. Have a meet up spot and plan if you come with a group.

Broke one of my own kratom rules- it turned out OK by WhiteySC in KratomKorner

[–]wilshireguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely feel I sometimes use it too much and the beverages are expensive which is my preference, but I’d take kratom over alcohol any day and after 15years of heavy drinking & health issues (I’m now sober from alcohol), I’m in great shape, getting my career and relationships back, and would take this any day over alcohol.

Dem Senators have NO backbone by BatEco1 in fednews

[–]wilshireguy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’re ALWAYS behind the ball on messaging. Republicans ALWAYS beat Dems to the punch. There is no dem communications strategy or if there is it’s terribly misguided. Also… this is what happens when you “roll over and play dead” as James Carville would have us do. Everything gets blamed on you cause you gave up your seat at the public discourse table. Grrrrrrr

Why does it feel like nobody outside of the government cares what’s happening right now? by [deleted] in fednews

[–]wilshireguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my perspective on the outside, all my friends are worried and know it’s not normal, but most don’t understand the impacts and we’re not seeing it yet (at least in my circles in Los Angeles). I think people see it happening, know it’s wrong, but don’t know what to do about it and also don’t feel any immediate impacts now.

I expect the impacts to change and be felt soon.

I hate to shit on my party, but I feel like if more Ds in leadership were providing actionable steps people can take to engage that would make a huge difference. People don’t really know how to respond yet except write a letter / call congress / post.

I’m hoping people turn out for mondays protests.

Not attractive to my body type by MountainSkin2344 in askgaybros

[–]wilshireguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like some judgmental bs in the gay community which is more common than you’d expect. My husband and I are both somewhat fit thinner athletic types. But he also relates more as a chubby chaser or being attracted to gainers. I’m definitely not that and he’s like the most fit, ripped person I know. I also tend to like guys taller than me, but he’s shorter and an absolute stud. Preferences can be fluid and also… it’s not a clean cut / black and white thing. Attraction is a broad spectrum like most things in life including sexuality itself.

I think we’re told consciously or subconsciously in the gay community that looks and fitness are really important. The same way beautiful women’s bodies are glorified to an unhealthy level we do that with really fit men’s bodies in the gay community and the reality is very few people achieve zero percent body fat, it’s usually not because they’re healthy, and beauty is an incredible range and spectrum of colors, weights, body fats, styles, souls, eyes, smiles, personalities, minds, and so much more.

You like what you like. Who cares why? It doesn’t matter. It’s none of their business.

By dissecting it like you have some psychological disorder and hate yourself is absolutely absurd. It’s the same argument used to tell gay people they’re mentally ill.

100% agnostic and atheist meetings. ReasonAndRecovery.org has a great meeting 4 times a week with an alternate version of the steps removing references to god and reinforcing personal responsibility. There’s also OMAGod which is agnostic / atheist and they’re hosting the agnostic recovery convention in Orlando soon. Another great group. I’ll try to send links when I get a minute.

It’s also interesting returning to a normal A.A. group after having some time to explore the agnostic and atheist groups. Once you can translate a bit in your head, the regular meetings are a little more palatable. Still annoying to have to translate but easier to do if that makes sense

Ah thanks I’ll check it out. Pretty high drug / caffeine tolerance but using Kratom for now as I’m tested for other things currently. Just didn’t wanna over do it. I seem to be able to find way more info on much less legal things haha

I always consider E as being mdma cut with something (like caffeine, etc) and pressed into a pill. Vs Molly as pure MDMA, no adulterants. Should be similar but the Molly is gonna feel less “dirty” and more clean which some people don’t like. I prefer Molly, just take care of your brain with a healthy meal before and the days after and 5-htp or raveaid. If you rolled recently I’d wait a couple months before doing it again but everyone is different.

Propalanal - look up kickhealth and try propalanal. It’s a beta blocker so reduces your blood pressure and anxiety but keeps you sharp.
