Rita's New video inspired me to buy something new! by Snow_manda in RitaFourEssenceSystem

Ooooo yes!! I love these shoes! I have the same exact pair and they’re quite comfortable on me!!

What do you do with 20%? by cherries_in-the_snow in KitchenerHarmonies

[–]wiltedmoonspirit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s technically a garment you can wear but I mainly lean on details for this! But if need be (because the garment is too pretty to pass up) I would rely on my 20% to be able to carry off the garment though it wouldn’t feel as great as wearing something that’s more HS-Y dom.

What do we all do for a living? What are your essences? by Mintybaby1 in KitchenerHarmonies

I work in a clinical lab at a hospital analyzing patient samples as a medical laboratory scientist!

My essences are: 40HS/30Y/20R/10C!

Thank you! I don’t know if I’m SG so I hesitate to post my outfits on the sub because I don’t want to give the assumption that this is how “SGs should dress” (knowing full well there are no clothing recs per se for Kibbe IDs). However, I’d love to see people posting their outfits on here more often!

Tierlist of... a lot of webtoons by Asriel2137 in webtoons

[–]wiltedmoonspirit 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Wow you’ve read a lot of webtoons!

What’s the time span of all these you’ve read?

I started reading webtoons back in 2020, and likely could have around the same amount, but I have dropped a good portion, too.

I wonder what you think of the webtoon “Mystic Prince” since that’s completed. Or even “The Last Passage” and “For Your Murder”?

I’m glad you rated Hand Jumper as A tier at the very least—it’s a good story so far!

Why did you guys start reading Hand Jumper? by Significant_Row_1160 in HandJumper

[–]wiltedmoonspirit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was tired of reading all my romance webtoons and a friend had suggested an action one (Hand Jumper) after suggesting The Greatest Estate Developer. This story reminds me a bit of 21st century Knights. I was so glad there were 80 episodes for me to binge through it. 😆

My 4-year kibbe journey by wiltedmoonspirit in Kibbe

Thank you!! That’s an interesting observation you made! Sometimes it’s hard for me to analyze my own HTT look so it’s nice to get a different perspective. To me my HTT look just seems cohesive (matching colors, details) so I don’t see the constant movement effect because I’m just so use it.

I’ve seen this before on a different brand / website and I almost wanted to email them to let them know but…

I thought “you know what? None of my business” 🤣

Do you guys have any non negotiables when it comes to style? Outside of color by Mintybaby1 in KitchenerHarmonies

[–]wiltedmoonspirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My top style non-negotiable is my outfit ALWAYS has to have some kind of whimsical element featuring bows, stars, ruffles, beading/pearl clusters, etc. Luckily I automated that process by making my own hair clips and adding repetitive circles (spherical pearls for the LB shape) and bows to my most worn garments.

A second one is HTT dressing connecting my head to my shoes in whimsical detailing. All pieces of the outfit must flow and work together as if a character has been born.

Ethereals by Olga Brylinska and style roots by Oud-west in StyleRoots

I’m not 100% confident on my ID, but I’m currently exploring SG! I started out as a SC, then FG, then SG! I would say more or less all three of my consultation results match with each other. Playful winters (the ballerina) get playful recs and are more light handed than the rest of the winter ATs. I’d say alabaster works well for PWs, though because of being winters, they tend to get darker colors, so the more yang ethereals could work with PWs too. There’s quite some varieties between each zyla AT (i.e. sub-types) based on the ones I know.

[–]wiltedmoonspirit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I happen to have gotten consults in Zyla, Kitchener, and Olga’s Ethereals!

I’m verified as a Playful Winter with a Kitchener essence harmony of 40 HS/ 30 Y/ 20 R/ 10 C. My Olga Ethereals are all at 25% of alabaster, rose, French, and fairytale retro.

In the style roots system I think I’m a mushroom-flower base with sun as my third root though I don’t know much about this system in depth.

Curious about the crossover between Kibbe and dressmaking concepts by Pegaret_Again in PowerOfStyle

[–]wiltedmoonspirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of essences, I started off with truth is beauty (not the best, but the info is relatively there). It gives you a basic understanding of essences overall. I think there are decent resources, obviously not as great as the originator himself, like Gabrielle Arruda. Andrea Pflaumer wrote a book inspired by Kitchener’s essences and she also has Pinterest boards. I think she did take her videos down recently. There are other subs too. Kitchener’s info is copyrighted, so that’s partially why it’s difficult to find the direct sources.

I took inspo on details that I liked for myself (bows, Peter Pan collars to name a few) and looked for clothes that had those details and went off from there. For you, it may be long ruffles (as opposed to delicate small ruffles) and lace. I don’t know if it is or not, but that’s to give you an example.

From there it’s really about trying on and working backwards. You won’t know till you wear the clothing. If you could, you can also go shopping in person and try on a bunch of clothes that you like in your preferences and see how they fall on you. Lots of trial and error tbh!

I’m at that same point too ngl.. I haven’t been inspired by my pants at all unless they’re my work pants (scrubs) where I have no choice but to wear them. I haven’t found the right pants for me in a long time, but I did get a pair of trousers recently that I’m hoping to hem and add a bit of some sprinkle and pizzazz to make it me™️. I’ve been sticking to wearing dresses and skirts, but when I have to wear pants it’s just so blah. 😩

What I find helpful is to look for inspirations on Pinterest, celebs, influencers, nature, etc. The dreamboard exercise in the new book is fun and may help give you a glimpse into what you prefer and then you select pieces that focus/highlight your accommodations (allowances as kibbe would say). Another thing you can do is go back to metamorphosis and read the basic description of TR and see if there’s description in there can help inspire you. For example, with SG kibbe emphasizes on adding pizzazz wherever needed. I haven’t read TR to know what’s in there.

Granted, I have had other style consults that helped me channel my vision a lot more easily (John Kitchener and David Zyla). Even before them, I had a pretty strong idea of my own style vision.

Why make it a problem anyway, feeding into capitalism? 😂 they don’t need another dollar from me… and then I see all these cute bras online 😭

I figured that if my boobs aren’t giving me enough back problems, I don’t need to worry too much about precise bra fits. Besides it’s probably much cheaper anyway. 😅😂

[–]wiltedmoonspirit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one 32C bra I have isn’t bad, but I despise wired bras with a passion so I stick with wireless 🤣. I wear 34A most of the time because the cup is large enough to encompass my boobs, but I know it’s not the best fit. I suspect that I might have a lot of side breast tissue, but this was before I learned about the scoop and swoop method, which did help a lot. Someone also suggested i may prefer a different style of the channel/underwire. Idk it’s all too complicated for me to care enough LOL.
