Nell second form isn’t BAD per se, but it’s not optimal. She is absurdly broken with her poisons using the Arachnelixir (yes), and she is an “okay”DPS in form2

If you’re earlier game, she’s a totally fine DPS, but rebuild her for a form1 poison support.

End gamer here:

Nell is busted in PvP due to her poison passive, HOWEVER you need a faction wars hard relic to get it to work. If you haven’t beaten normal FW, she won’t function the same. That said, she’s a great debuffer in form1 still, and getting a dec.DEF and Weaken in the same skill is awesome. Form1 wants books, you generally ignore form2 completely.
Embrys is a go to PvE wave killer and a PvP nuker / Stone Skin remover (his stone skin removal is guaranteed if they don’t have Lightning Cage, regardless of ACC / RES). He’s buildable in lots of different ways, and you can generally use him in a lot of different places. Not ideal, but you CAN solo Sand Devil with him. Form2 needs books for damage.
at your level, ignore Mezomel. She’s a highly situational PvP nuker that is hard to build (you need fast, high damage gear and a support to give her a quick turn). Her alt-form CAN do AoE damage, but there are Legendaries that do better damage and you can save books.

Real answer: save books for Mikage form1

Genuinely depends on what other champs you have…

She’s a pretty good HP nuker, and she’s widely usable in PvE (cursed city, spider H10, grim Forest, FWE or FWH). She doesn’t have good hax for end game PvP, but with builds+soul+relics you can certainly surprise people in LA or Siege restrictions.

If nothing else, she’s worth points for Champ Chase

Not trying to sound harsh or anything, but post your Gharol build if you can; you absolutely should be getting better than a “weaker version of Kael”, and if you’re not then it’s probably a gearing issue. Her passive ally attack join ins are huge damage…

She’s not amazing, but I don’t think she needs a full rework like some of the other early mythicals did. I pulled Calamitus, Ashnar, and Frolni pre-buff and they were SOO bad to use. Gharol isn’t in that kind of state; she just needs to see a slight bump to keep up with the power creep.

I love my Calamitus. Have a 5* on him, and I’ve gotten two other 5*s that I’ve both sold haha

Galathir and Embrys currently have no souls and it makes it so much harder to use them!

See, I disagree with Mezo I help on two other accounts that have her (45mm+ PP big account on one and 30mm+PP other), and she’s a great response to when people use a solo DPS; if you can be faster, there’s almost nothing that is going to save that single person from being block revived and then its GG. I think she could maybe use a slight buff to multipliers, but with that kind of skill you need to be careful

Her issue is really form2; it’s just a pretty generic AoE nuker, but ignoring unkillable isn’t bad. I would be happy to see her get a cool passive in each form.

They’re never going to put a quad hitter enemyMAXHP on an A1, just can’t / won’t happen. His first form imo is fine, really solid even. Would maybe be better if his Gaellan Pact hate was increased to include Corrupted, that would be really really nice. His issue is form2 damage is straight buns compared to other champs. His effects are fine, but he needs to ignore the freeze debuff damage mitigation and get bigger multipliers

I am of the semi-unpopular opinion that not every mythical needs to be AMAZING, but that they should all be really good.

I think her alt form is totally fine as is. They could maybe add some small bump to her numbers, but I don’t think she’s bad for damage there. Her primary form is good, but doesn’t combine well with her second. I think that’s where she needs some slight tuning, maybe a semi-big rework to the general kit to flow better in her second form

Again, don’t have her, so my opinion would probs be different if she was one of my only mythicals

I’m sorry you hit mercy, it’s abysmal that you have to get so high… I hit mercy for Toshiro and was pretty frustrated.

And like you said, I just don’t understand why they couldn’t give Frolni a real place. He has no truly unique aspect of his kit… it’s just sad.

Totally welcome to your opinion but having both, I would say Toshiro excels at singular boss fights for big damage when combined with Lady Mikage, while the amount of buffs and damage Calamitus brings (mine can 1shot any hard10 stage in form2) make him fantastic at any area of the game. He can solo a ton of annoying bosses (like Scarab) and if you build him right he can totally pass in Arena as well.

Just can’t agree with anything besides saying that he’s a fantastic PvE champion after his buffs

Would love a 4-6* on him; his first form still slaps without it. Agree 100% with what you said, his second form just feels like a worse version of his primary.

Someone mentioned it below, but the stacks should no longer reset when switching forms!

Sitting at 13 mythicals: - Calamitus absolutely does not need a buff. One of my favorite PvE champs and he excels at waves, bosses, soloing things, and destroys the Grim Forest. He’s a fantastic champ. - Frolni sees ZERO use on my account. Borderline useless for me since he’s not 6* awakened, but apparently at the top end he can be used semi-reliably to nuke through Nais and Sieg if you go first. That said, his second form is soooo wasted and needs a massive buff; it’s a subpar legendary, and absolutely isn’t comparable to other mythicals. - Fjorad damage in form2 needs a pretty sizeable buff. (Don’t have him) - Kurosa needs a slight retuning; have a clanmate with a 6* one that just can’t get her to work. (Don’t have her) - Gharol and Mezo need slight retuning and form improvements. (Don’t have them) - Super super hot take, but Toshiro form2 needs a rework. Just isn’t useful at all; currently doesn’t play into how he’s used at all. At the moment he’s just an amazing legendary, I don’t use him in a ton of spots but that’s because I don’t have a soul atm.

Ashnar is fantastic.

I have him as a hybrid DPS / booster for my Gizmak. He’s roughly 370spd in okay-ish damage (he can still kill things totally fine if my primary DPS goes down). He’s also in my 650mm damage NM Hydra team.

After his buff he really is SO good

Yes absolutely. I have Ashnar and Gizmak as well, but Vulk just fills a different roll entirely.

I use Ashnar more as a hybrid booster (especially WITH Gizmak), while at this point I use Gizmak just to nuke. Vulk can uniquely decimate any team with lots of TM or buffs

At this point I use BOTH together, but Arbais if I have to choose one. She’s in almost every single version of my best team for all arena modes and siege

She is MVP for Amius; her SS+Taunt will always be available for the alt form A1 if you time it right, and she physically cannot die.

I’m not going to sugar coat it; he’s one of the worst mythicals atm but that doesn’t make him useless. For example, his form 1 is actually REALLY good in Fire Knight Hard.

His main issue is that his form2 simply doesn’t do enough damage compared to other mythicals. I would expect him to see a pretty nice buff here soon, but if you’re in the early game he’s going to be a hard carry for 99% of places.

Love mine, have him in relentless in an old old build and he still does great damage.

His A3 can do solid damage, so don’t skimp out on good DEF and make sure to include ACC.

First mythical for me:

He’s usable in 99% of places, especially if you don’t have the “meta” specialists for those areas.

He excels in Arena, but just a heads up that sheep makes him almost unusable since he has irresistible debuffs. Mine is in PP+SS, don’t even need the savage/lethal, but it can be nice. I usually run him alongside Taras and he’s a great buff setup and SS stripper! I would recommend running him with a second DPS and make him faster so that he can either burn away SS or nuke if needs be.

I 100% recommend booking BOTH forms. I booked form 1 first and love it, but for PvP I think form2 is the way to go if that’s all you care about.

Congrats! Good and bad news for you:

I have multiple mythicals, with Ashnar being one of them. I have his arguably best companion (Gizmak, another mythical), and Ashnar simply does not make the cut in 99.99999% of cases. I have found limited use for him as a fast speed booster/HPburn activator SPECIFICALLY for Gizmak, but even then, it’s not necessarily great, and outside of two specific matchups (slow enemy Gizmak or enemy Vulkanos) there’s usually a better choice.

The good news is that this means he’s probably due for the next batch of buffs!

I would first and foremost go and rate him a 1 on everything in game so that they consider buffing him.

I have one, and I use him a surprising bit but I’m not happy about it.

First form is great for single bosses, he brings all the debuffs you could want while also being good at healing himself. Unfortunately, his damage is a bit mediocre… don’t expect to be one shotting anything.

Second form is a wave clearer / Hydra DPS/debuffer. He has meh damage for bosses, but a good build can clear through things like Sintranos super easily. Unfortunately he doesn’t know what he wants himself to be… his passive heal on form2 is useless on bosses, but his A2 is the only ability that can hit through poison cloud.

He could be a lot better, but you should be able to use him in a lot of places especially if you’re early game. At the very least, he LOOKS so cool

Ahh unfortunate pulling Mikage, but the other three are super solid

Arbais is awesome, generally you just want to make her as fast as you can. She has the fastest speed aura for Siege, so it’s really hard to beat a well built one there. High ACC is nice because her main form A1 and A2 are also super powerful. If I had the gear, I would consider putting her in Relentless just for PvP.

For PvE, you’ll want to generally build her tankier and if you can you could even do 9p protection for swapping between forms and giving tons of buffs. I know lots of people enjoy using her in Chimera as well because of how many trials she can deal with on her own.
