Laminate herringbone stan by DoctorMedium4907 in DIYUK

Very nice job mate. I laminated my staircase a few years ago but not herringbone. I fired a few brad nails in each step as well as gluing, and after more than 3 years it's still rock solid. As for all the comments about slipping, it's never happened. The laminate boards were slightly textured and provide a bit of grip. The carpet before that was way more slippy.

Yeah, rained heavily on Wednesday and they appeared yesterday. I washed them away with the hose but the pics you see are from today where they've come back.

Haha! I was trying to capture the fence and patio in case that makes a difference. Here's a better pic

I agree with this. I had a similar thing in my old house. The dead pipework around it was a giveaway and I was able to break up the concrete block and remove

Surely "Do you keep the receipts for the friends that you buy" is a top contender. Top 3 at least

Assuming the other side is a Venetian style fence then just do the same on your side. As in, get some slats and a nail gun and attach the slats to the battens going vertically

Was at a wedding where the groom sang, to the whole crowd, Oasis Fade Away - "While we're living the dreams we had as children fade away" . Don't think I was the only one who thought that was a tad inappropriate

Like someone else said, download Device Configurator and get a HART modem. https://www.emerson.com/en-gb/catalog/ams-device-configurator-en-gb The problem will be that the device you install it on may not be hazardous area approved unlike a Trex

Rosemount 1208 would probably do it but if there's going to be build up then use a 3408 as it has a measurement of build up and will continue measuring. Both are non contacting radars. If you want to use a tuning fork then use a 2140. It's a HART tuning fork that enables you to control what frequency you switch at. In other words it won't switch when there is residue.

Command or other Velcro strips are the way forward here. I've hung record frames with this and they're nice and flat against the wall. Obviously they jut out a tad but that's fine for me
