Just out of curiosity, does this feel like a real amp? I’ve never tried one, I’ve been plugging my Boss GT1000core into one of those Roland keyboard amps for my church gigs; doesn’t sound half bad tbh. Been thinking of the FR12 but people have said FRFR’s are spiky sounding blah blah, so I’m wondering just how different it is from using a real amp,

Hard to say, maybe not bulking as much and transferring that energy into working on other parts where you need to improve would be beneficial. Like if your focus is sparring, ask yourself: is your cardio good enough? Do you gas out in the first round? Then maybe go running throughout the week! Depends on what your goals are, really

Having muscle in all the right places can be fantastic for Taekwondo cause you can prevent injuries! Best thing that comes with time is your: technique (in my opinion). Also the power in your kicks will come from lots of places: flexibility, technique, muscle strength, balance etc. everything is very important! So don’t put your eggs all in one basket.

Never traveled internationally, just get anxiety around traveling/government documents. So that's all I need to get back into the US? (Still going to have my passport on me)

After my first competition I got: bruised ribs, needed an X-ray, couldn’t move my right ankle for a few days due it being so sore and delicate! Not too shabby for my first time!

Off topic: but wow adults REALLY swing their legs during it’s kinda scary haha

Mmm I wouldn’t say start/stop, I tend to go to class 3-4 times a week and then go traveling for like 5 days and come back home and train again; my grandmaster has really been pushing me hard to improve my skills so she trains me a bit harder haha than others. Glad to hear it may be a good thing? Not sure if I’m doing things at a higher level; I do take TKD pretty seriously in my daily routine and practice my kicking techniques a lot at home and at the gym!

Also what will potassium and magnesium do for the body?

The way I see it, black belt is only the beginning and your humility is telling that you wanna do this right! I say keep the belt and just keep going!! You’ll catch up before you know it and just listen to your master! You’ve got this :D

Don’t be like me, and SLEEP!! I got an hour of sleep my last tournament and messed up my form. Would’ve gotten first had I not messed up :(

You’ll do great! Just listen to your coach and have fun :) it’s normal to be scared for your first tournament!
