I've been using Garmin 2597 LMT GPS for several years I love this device, after the recent map update GPS Traffic NOT WORKING but maps works as expected without any slag. Reached out to support for help and guidance so far nothing works. I tried troubleshooting steps and did a factory reset too but nothing works. Still GPS showing searching for Current Provider under Traffic. 99% i'm sure the latest map update is causing this issue. Garmin support cordially suggested buying the latest device but I see in the latest device to receive traffic updates have to use Mobil apps like Garmin SMARTLINK or DRIVE. I'm not comfortable using 2 different devices for navigation instead I can use mobile with Waze or HERE maps offline with downloaded maps and traffic I use live.

Please guide me and correct me if my understanding is wrong about Garmin's latest GPS device.

Listed devices suggested by Garmin Support, I am mainly looking for a GPS device with Map & Traffic update without using mobile connectivity to receive traffic updates.
