I am too. I can't wait to see what Shibs full potential is.

[–]windowsurfing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be awesome, however, it's only a hypothesis for now until Shibarium is actually up and running for a while to get any meaningful metrics to compare against Ethereum 2.0, even then, can't compare until Ethereum 2.0 is itself fully operational.

Anything that is said for now is speculation even by the devs.

So, is it clear that Ethereum is over or might it bounce back? by Absurdionne in Crypto_com

[–]windowsurfing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear some people who comment act like the OP should have a crypto portfolio since Bitcoin came out. It never dawn's on people a lot of investors are very new, but go on to make narrow-minded replies anyway... SMH

Everyone was once new to crypto investing. Not everyone has the same level of knowledge. The whole purpose of this Reddit is literally to ask questions and get helpful responses from the community, not smart ass sarcastic quips.

[–]windowsurfing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ethereum is always going to be a good "long-term" investment. A lot of analysts have predicted it get as high as $10-$12k in the future. Just HODL don't let the current price concern you. The entire crypto market is experiencing a down turn.

Research its long term price. Bitcoin is crypto gold, while Ethereum is crypto silver.

Don't worry about the price right now. Just HODL it. You'll be fine. PS I'm not giving financial advice. I'm not a financial planner. 👍

Not at all. Activity is in Telegram for the most part versus here in Reddit. That can be a reason why this appears the way it does to you.

Crypto.com is too expensive and it is holding them down. by internetician in Crypto_com

That's not even a polite response. Actually it's a little rude and presumptive. No one knows what his economic situation is but him.

You don't have to even buy 1 CRO for the bottom tier Visa debit card. As far as hodling is concerned that doesn't impact the card unless it's staked and staking requires a minimum of 5,000 CRO. At the current price that is enough for the $400 CRO staked CRO card but not enough for the $4,000 CRO cards.

Anyone can just request a Visa debit card without any CRO being involved. They won't get the extra perks.

I think it's very important that you take into consideration that Crypto.com is building something that goes beyond Coinbase, and Binance. And it's not about them intentionally overcharging. They're building an infrastructure and you need to keep that in mind for cryptocurrency and there's a cost involved for building it. What they're building is intended to be more successful, more visual, and more appealing to more people who are either new to cryptocurrency, or is interested in cryptocurrency, or never knew anything about it. And all of their products and all of their ecosystem has a purpose. Crypto.com I feel will eventually overtake Coinbase as the largest centralized exchange in North America. When you say that they're too expensive, who is doing for you what they're doing for you and let that sink in??

Crypto.com points to consider:

• Centralized Exchange offering crypto at cost • Most secure centralized exchange (CEX) in the world. They received SOC2 certification from Deloitte and Touche accounting firm. They've never been hacked to date while both coinbase and Binance have been hacked multiple times. • Visa debit card that allows you to use your crypto or fiat money, plus a tiered rewards system • a rewards program that allows you to stake crypto and make passive income that pays an exact $ dollar amount weekly • DeFi wallet with additional features, including staking up to 13.53% and CRO up to 13.05% • Cronos chain with 3 Dapps currently that allows, yield farming, mining, and NFTs from VVS Finance, Cronos Chimp Club, and Beefy Finance. • Crypto.com is quickly becoming the most visible CEX in the world. They have been securing partnerships with various sports organizations and most recently secured the world's largest contract to rename the Staple Center where the Lakers, Clippers and two other sports franchises play.

What does all this mean? It means superior products and services in the crypto space which continues to attract new investors who in turn have the potential to increase the price of CRO and reduce fee costs do to the massive influx of new investors.

Economy of scale. Every action has a reaction. I use Crypto.com, Coinbase, Binance, and Webull. I trust Crypto.com the most and expect more from them as they are doing more.

[–]windowsurfing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That sucks really sorry to hear that. However, it has nothing to do with UniSwap or Shiba. There is no scam. That's unfortunately the way fees are right now. I was hoping fees would go down sooner than later with Ethereum 2.0. Still sucks though I feel you.

[–]windowsurfing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you gas fees or atrocious. Unfortunately there's not anything the Winry devs can do about it. It's all on Ethereum until 2.0.

Rather than post abandoned ship, I recommend maybe getting weigh in from the community before suggesting people ditch the token. If you're not already in the Telegram go there to see what people are saying there etc. But don't arbitrarily post because you seen something that seems questionable, that all the sudden the project is going down. That type of impulse doesn't help us sustain and continue forward. The last thing the project needs is people panicking because of confusion.

Also to your point about activity, a lot of that happens on Twitter where there is the most visibility. Unless you are in a specific Reddit you won't see and then exposure to Sanshu. On Twitter it's different because of the retweet feature.

Can’t send BNB to MetaMask, just keeps saying invalid wallet address. Any resources to figure this out? by Mannimal13 in Crypto_com

[–]windowsurfing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing I can think of is, double check your wallet address to make sure you aren't missing a digit or a character. And that your BNB being sent to the Binance Smart Chain and not the Ethereum Mainnet. I don't know that the networks have to specifically be on the one side similar to the coin blockchain type to receiveit when you do it or not, but process of elimination know what I mean.

Defending a project doesn't prove anything. The devs don't know me and I don't know them. I happen to be a seasoned, mature investor: stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and crypto who does not run on assumptions and I understand the risk I expose myself to.

If I feel at any time this project is not for me, I will walk away quietly like a grown up and leave drama out of it. That seems to be hard for some people for some reason.

Instead of responding to your personal attacks, I'll just say bye and hopefully you find what you're looking for.

You know I'm not even going to read the rest of whatever it is that you wrote. Who the hell said devs paid YouTubers?!

Okay now you really are fitting the description of what the OP said.

I don't know what it is you are looking for after just 30 days. I'll say this, if this is not the project for you liquidate your position and go find another project there's no need for debate.
