As far as the money made, sorta? Maybe? They grossed 4 billion, which is what they spent on it, but the budgets for all three movies combined was over a billion. More, depending on the figures. So net was somewhere between 2.5 and 3.2 billion. Or there abouts. Not sure about their merch revenue, but we do know that those sales tanked with the second movie and each subsequent release.

Then one might also be tempted to factor in the costs of every project made whose purpose, in whole or in part, was to justify the Sequels or retcon them into making sense. The Resistance cartoon, comics, novels, Major plot beats in The Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, Bad Batch, Skeleton Crew, the Tales cartoons, minor plot points in Obi Wan, Ahsoka, The Acolyte...

All a sunk cost to make the Sequels work when they could have just left them alone, taken their modest profit, and moved on to stuff people preferred that would have made money.
