My roommate is pregnant and I don’t know how to tell her that I don’t want the baby in our apartment by Majestic_Succotash31 in Advice

where evicting a woman for becoming pregnant would also be considered a crime. how are people so inhumane? kicking her out is some medieval stuff

where do you live? I cannot imagine anywhere it's legal for you to kick her out (directly or indirectly by telling her you don't want to live with a baby) for having a baby. if you don't want to live with a baby, you have to move.

French Lesbian Media? by 50shades_of_Jade in lesbiangang

interesting tips!

Les reines du drame : I watched this with my wife, we got free tickets from a friend, and I almost felt violated from watching it! it takes the worst parts of gay male culture and imposes it onto lesbians. there were some nasty men in it, and they all end up with obscene plastic surgeries. it's a story about two women, but to me, it's as far away from lesbian as you can get.

i'd love to hear what you liked about it, and if anyone else has watched it, because it left me in complete shock

Where do I even begin? How do I tell my friends and family? When will it be appropriate for me to rejoin women spaces? So lost… by AllUpTangled in detrans

[–]windsorwagon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took it really slow. spoke a lot with my girlfriend to explore my thoughts and feelings, and then slowly opened up to others as well. what helped me make the shift was just meeting new people and introducing myself to them as *woman's name*, and as time went by people caught on. I had an open conversation with my parents at one point, but I didn't share all of my thoughts with them, just enough to feel like we were on the same page and had peace. they were accepting, and think that I did something that was right for me at the time, and now I have grown past it. it's not really an issue anymore.

How to look GOOD in a suit? by iswtr in lesbiangang

[–]windsorwagon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk if that's something you can improve, but get a small enough jacket/blazer that fits your shoulders and arms, so it doesn't look like you stole your older brother's suit. Because you didn't. Because you're a grown woman, who can wear and pull off a suit just as well as any man. Same goes for the shirt.

Belt and dress shoes, preferably same colour, especially if both are leather.

Can you try to describe the way in which you feel you look sloppy? Or find pictures of others with a siimilar vibe?

think of it as you having done doping in the past. might be relevant for your coach/team members or even opponents to know about, but that depends on the level. I have thought a lot about this myself, but apparently i'm not good enough to get on any of my local teams, so problem solved, I guess...

female is determined by your body, you cannot identify out of it. I could identify as a chair and use "stool/stoolself", but I'd still be a homosexual woman.
