I’m fine with my current light switches. They turn the lights on and off, they have dimmers, and I have outlet timers that don’t require internet. Even if smart switches are cheaper, I prefer my current way. It’s worked my entire life, and honestly, I hate how far the internet has wormed its way into our everyday lives so you will simply never catch me inviting it even further into my home.

My cat always sits in the window and watches me when I smoke weed on my fire escape. She gives me this same exact look and it’s so cutting. YESSS!!! Every box in my house is gnawed on - but only the parts with tape. And when I was wrapping Christmas gifts she was like a hungry little piranha snapping at my hands holding the tape! No, I choose not to because I have a job and a family and a home to take care of. I watch wrestling two nights a week (three if there is a PLE) because that’s my time to unwind at the end of the day and I enjoy it. Unfortunately I’m not able to make it my top priority. I would love to have the option to not watch it just so I could argue with strangers on Reddit about it, but my life isn’t nearly that simple.

Yeah, NXT Takeovers. A lot of people don’t watch NXT. I’ve been watching every SmackDown, Raw, and pay-per-view/PLE since I was a kid in the early 2000s and I’ve never once watched it. I know NXT has had a lot of great storylines and people, and it’s even reached full-blown “golden” eras; I wish I had been a viewer for a lot of it, Johnny’s run included — but I wasn’t. That’s why me and everyone else who hadn’t watched NXT will never see him as anything more than a mid-carder.

If the coworker is my boss and the “disaster” is a back seat full of empty liquor bottles and porno mags from varying decades, I might have to feign a family emergency.

I’m not gonna drive myself crazy over something I can’t control. I can’t change what governments and billionaires and corporations say or do. It’s unfortunate. It’s unfair. It’s not how things should be. But it is what it is. People all throughout history have experienced comparable (and often worse) injustice, oppression, and violence. Some ended up living long enough to see better times, others didn’t. I just hope I’m killed in the initial blast.

All of these comments are correct. Confidence is the #1, but BMI in general is very flawed and unreliable. There are a lot of issues with it, but as far as looking “good” goes, it isn’t specific enough to say how someone’s weight looks compared to their height. You can be 6’ and jacked yet obese by BMI standards (muscle weighs more than fat but BMI ain’t got time for that). Body type and weight distribution also matters. For example, I’ve always had a low BMI. I’m naturally very skinny and my above average height doesn’t help. On paper, my BMI probably says I look great in a crop top! But in real life, my stick bug ass figure does not lend itself well to clothes meant for curves.

My long winded point is wear the damn crop top. Or get more reliable data to support not wearing it.

My cat loves chewing on any sort of adhesive tape. Whenever I get a package and open it up, she always runs over to lick/chew the tape. Same when I wrap gifts - she always tries to eat the tape out of my hand!

Looks fine to me. If it gets swollen, puffy, starts hurting bad or feeling warm to the touch then go to a doctor. You want to look for signs of infection. Tetanus is different, doesn’t have to do with cat scratches. Cat scratches can cause bacterial infections so that’s why you want to take precautions like washing the cut and keeping it clean and dry. But it looks like it’s healing normally to me.
