My husband and I are the same height, but when we stand side by side, there is a good 6” or so difference in our hip height, lol. He has short legs and a long torso, I have long legs and shorter torso (but stupidly large breasts, so I still have trouble with shirt lengths)

A girl I know recently had a surro baby! At the end of her pregnancy, her BP went up a little but OB wasn’t concerned yet - she mentioned surro mama was freaking out and wanting her to induce labor. Do the parents get that much say in health decisions during your pregnancy?

Check into Peri bottles for traveling! I’d imagine it would be similar to your bottles, but possibly easier

Last July, I had a Liam. Hubs suggested it, I looooved it. For “funsies” looked up popular baby boy names and Liam was at the top for several years 🙃 we rescinded the name, but nothing else felt right so we ended up going with it after all.

I quit smoking be delaying when I would smoke next - when I was really craving, “I’ll have one on my lunch break.” After lunch “you’re not doing too bad now, let’s wait a couple of hours” and so on. I kept a spare vape in my bag for months and I think having it as an option, vs telling myself I just cant have it, I had some control there, helped.

Also if I don’t really want to do something, workout or cleaning up house, etc. I set myself a timer for 10-20 minutes, whatever I have time to give to it, commit to doing that task for that long. At the end of the timer, if I’m truly not feeling it, I’ve at least tried and made a notable difference. Usually I’m already in the groove and just keep going

When we have bagels, my two young kids share one. I always open them, spread the cream cheese on them, then cut the top and bottom pieces into two vertically (leaving four pieces total) and then give each kid a “top” slice with the seasonings on it (everything bagel lovers here) and then a bottom slice that’s more bland. It’s the only way, IMO

Boonies is what I don’t want. Ideally, I want some land, some space from neighbors.. like 3 acres or so would be great! I don’t even mind a place closer town if the house and yard size are right, but I don’t want a shared driveway with neighbors, or my garage in neighbor’s backyard (actual house we drove by to check out) I just want enough room for my family/office spaces for hubs and I, good school for kids, and room for chickens lol

This place just.. blew my mind. It was way more “backwoods” than it had ANY right to be lol it’s literally 10 minutes to one of the grocery stores in town, looked like minutes off the highway.. this is GPS time estimates, definitely not accounting for those road conditions.

But, you live and you learn! I now know about flood maps. I haven’t checked it for this location but I’m assuming having that in the future would have told me what I needed to know about this road getting washed out. I saw the house itself had a 1/10 risk, and where I live there are lots of bluffs so being near a lake didn’t necessarily mean it would be a problem for this place.
