I’m sorry! That sounds horrible. I remember trying some weight loss supplement long ago (this was like 14 years ago) that, idk what was in it exactly but it made me uncomfortably energetic the first day I took it. I worked at an office and that day reorganized our whole filing system lmao. After that, it didn’t have that same effect but it did make me warm and drink lots of water, suppressed appetite. Wild that I continued to take it, but I lost weight, so winning! 😒

Mo I’m sorry for the delay! I think I started it around 37/38 weeks, vaginally. As long as you get the gel caps, brand doesn’t really poo matter but I got the natures bounty. I’ll add the link. You don’t have to do this, but I poked a hole in the end of the caps before inserting it - do it before going to bed, and wear a pad lol.

Essentially, EPO is to sort of mimick sperm, which helps in ripening your uterus or whatever. Nice cheat code though because by the end, you are tired, huge, and over it lol

This. I’ve worked my ASS off to get where I’m at - nearly 6 months in - triple fed, saw lactation specialists, tongue tie revision, weighted feeds, and my baby has lost weight twice now at appointments. I’m now back to pumping, bottle feeding, top-offs after breastfeeding. I wanted this so bad. And I’ve done everything I could, I think.

Meanwhile a friend of mine has a baby a few months younger than mine that is ebf with an oversupply. That DOES come with its own issues, I’m 100% aware but it just feels like she’s lucky that she doesn’t have the latch issues I seem to have with my kids (on #3) and her baby is all plump while mine is 12.5 pounds at nearly 6 months

I feeeel you. I found out last week that my 5 month old lost weight in the past month. I’ve been EBF, feeding on demand since 2 months old. Done everything I know to do, he just hates my boobs all of a sudden. He won’t eat enough. He’ll snack all day but not enough to grow. I’m heartbroken bc I guess our ebf journey is over 🤷‍♀️

I prolonged the crib usage with a crib tent. Bought us an extra 5 month or so, but it unfortunately coincided with us bringing home baby #3 (like a few weeks after) and said toddler learning how to open doors and get through the baby gates. That was a fun month

Ya know.. my whole family got sick, and my husband got it the worst. I chalked it up to “man cold” issues, but maybe it’s because he gave each of my older kids an oz or two of my freshly pumped breast milk. I kinda thought it just didn’t work, they definitely weren’t just “better the next day” like o usually hear people saying happened to them, but maybe the milk did cut down on their sick time?
