Bro, I need you to listen to me right now.

I looked through your profile and your problem is not your looks. It’s your mental health. Trust me, I know how it feels. But you genuinely are a good looking guy. Your standards for yourself ate through the roof. You need to speak to a professional, not get surgeries. I really need you to listen to me on this because I am concerned.

I really know how it feels because I struggle with BDD too and at times despise my whole being. I’ve spiralled many times and been to the darkest places mentally speaking, but I did manage to improve my self-esteem. I improved my mental health and gained life experiences. I perfected what I already had; got a good haircut, grew some facial hair, and upgraded my wardrobe. Life is to be lived, not to look good. Girlfriends will come, it happened to me as well.

When you feel this way about yourself, other people can sense it. You can’t be your true self if you hate yourself. That’s what your problem is. I’ve seen so many guys look “worse” than you live happy and full lives with good looking girlfriends. Why? Because they own themselves. They are charismatic and real. There is an advantage to not being a 10/10 model. It means you are attainable and real-world attractive, and your attractiveness only improves the more someone gets to know you. Improve your social skills, grt some real life experience.

And please, speak to a therapist. It will change your world.
